<div><div><div><p>Perianesthesia setting consists of the Day Surgery and PACU.
</p><p>Performs the function of a Perianesthesia Patient Care technician in carrying out all assignments under the direction of an RN in Day Surgery and/or PACU. Is accountable for all patient care he/she gives in the Perianesthesia setting. Is responsible for adhering to all standards of Nursing Practice and for promoting teamwork among colleagues through collaboration and respect.</p>
<p><b>Position Qualifications</b></p>
<ul><li><b>Minimum Education:</b> High school graduate
</li><li><b>Preferred Education: </b>Completion of nursing assistant certification training and competency exams as approved by the State Board of Health. Completion of Nursing Fundamentals Course, EMT Course, or Medical Assistant Course.
</li><li><b>Minimum Experience:</b> Effective verbal and written skills. Effective customer service. Computer keyboard skills</li>
<li><b>Preferred Experience:</b> One year of healthcare experience preferred</li>
<li><b>Certifications Required:</b> Healthcare Provider CPR certification</li>
<li><b>Certifications Preferred:</b> Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant or EMT Certification</li>
