Highlights of what the Landscape Designer is responsible for, but not limited to:
<ul><li>Generates CAD computer generated designs and drafting plans.</li>
<li>Designs forefronts for residential projects.</li>
<li>Generates drawings for all production packages.</li>
<li>Designs all models for clients.</li>
<li>Prepares commercial design renovations and retros.</li>
<li>Administers all CAD related functions in the department.</li>
<li>Generates all drawings for the department.</li>
<li>Works closely with all departments to ensure that the drawings convey the correct information and are error free.
</li><li>Works from customer drawings, company drawings, government drawings, or specifications.
</li><li>Coordinates with estimating department by red lining changes and issuing drawings for estimating to issue product.</li>
<li>Researches new design software and technological advances in design in order to maintain optimum efficiency and effectiveness.</li>
</ul>
Are you the right fit for this role? Skills &amp; experience that are necessary as a Landscape Designer will include, but not limited to:
<ul><li>Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Landscape Design experience is highly preferred</li>
<li>One year certificate from college or technical school or three to six months of horticulture design experience.</li>
<li>Intermediate to advanced skill level in Excel and mathematics</li>
<li>Detail oriented individual with a strong work ethic</li>
<li>Ability to be flexible with work schedule; overtime may be required</li>
<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills</li>
</ul>
