Position Summary:
 
The HR Generalist is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties. This position carries out responsibilities in a wide range of HR areas including recruitment, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, and performance management. The HR Generalist serves as a key point of contact for employees and managers, ensuring compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations.

</li></ul>Role Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Administer and support employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews.
</li><li>Handle employee relations issues and provide guidance on company policies, procedures, and best practices.
</li><li>Manage benefits administration, including health insurance, 401(k), and other employee programs.
</li><li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, EEO, and others.
</li><li>Coordinate recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and assisting with offer letters.
</li><li>Administer the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans.
</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems.
</li><li>Conduct regular audits of HR policies and employee files to ensure compliance.
</li><li>Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.
</li><li>Assist with employee training programs, including coordination of training logistics and tracking attendance.
</li><li>Support the HR Manager in addressing employee concerns, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
</li><li>Facilitate employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive work culture.
</li><li>Prepare reports and presentations for HR metrics and compliance audits.
</li></ul>Education:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
</li><li>SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
</li></ul>Experience / Skills / Abilities:
<ul><li>2-4 years of experience in a generalist HR role.
</li><li>Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
</li><li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all HR matters.
</li><li>Bilingual (Spanish) preferred, but not required.
</li></ul>Job Expectations / Working Conditions:

</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
