Purpose of the Position:This role is to maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products; recording quality results. To ensure that all safety standards are being met at all times.Duties &amp; Responsibilities:1. Perform inspections at all levels of production and manufacturing. Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual andmeasurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.2. Review product specifications. Approves in-process production by confirming specifications to ensure that every product and the process of creating them meets company standards; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.3. Inspect and approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.4. Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.5. Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.6.
