The Leasing Consultant is responsible for leasing apartments, providing exceptional customer service, and creating a welcoming experience for current and prospective residents. The ideal candidate has a strong sales background and experience with Yardi (preferred).<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>
Greet and qualify prospective residents (in-person and by phone)</li><li>
Conduct community tours and demonstrate apartment homes using product knowledge and closing techniques</li><li>
Process applications and secure deposits in accordance with company policies and Fair Housing guidelines</li><li>
Record all traffic and maintain accurate guest cards and reports</li><li>
Follow up with prospects to close sales and refer to sister communities when appropriate</li><li>
Monitor advertising effectiveness and track local market competition</li><li>
Process resident service requests and ensure timely follow-up</li><li>
Represent the company professionally at all times</li><li>
Complete assigned tasks and projects within deadlines</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Qualifications</h3><ul><li>
2+ years of leasing, sales, or related experience</li><li>
Yardi experience preferred</li><li>
Leasing 101 certification required within first 3 months</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license and reliable transportation</li><li>
Strong communication, sales, and closing skills</li><li>
Professional phone and in-person etiquette</li><li>
Positive, solution-oriented, and resident-focused mindset</li><li>
