Job Summary
Under the direction of the Superintendent/Foreman a Laborer will be responsible for carrying out logistics, equipment and material handling and assisting with installation of work.
Responsibilities and Duties
Participates in the execution and completion of work, including the following duties:
Supply Chain Logistics<ul><li>
Tracks and escorts deliveries</li><li>
Inspects quality of materials and signs tickets</li><li>
Maintains barcode tags for inventory control</li><li>
Maintains dumpsters
</li><li>Maintains hydration and sanitation stations</li><li>
Properly designates the location and storage of flammable liquids
</li><li>Ensures materials and equipment are placed in designated lay-down areas</li></ul>
Equipment/Materials<ul><li>
Loads and unloads trucks.</li><li>
Tracks, inspects, and performs sign-in &amp; sign-out procedures
</li><li>Assists in inspection of fall protection equipment</li><li>
Performs maintenance and repair on equipment</li><li>
Signals and flags crane and truck operators</li><li>
Rigs loads for hoisting</li></ul>
Installation of Work<ul><li>
Cleans columns, walls, floors, tools and equipment during &amp; after pours.
</li><li>Responsible for general housekeeping of worksite</li><li>
Serves as a confined space attendant</li><li>
Serves as designated &ldquo;fire watch&rdquo; for welding and other hot work applications</li></ul>

Skilled Laborer

Industrial Civil Construction Contractor specializing in structural concrete and sitework/earthwork looking for Heavy Equipment Operators (Pan &amp; Scraper, Backhoe, Excavator, Roller, Dozer, Rough Terrain Forklift, etc.).
Job Summary
Under the direction of the Superintendent/Foreman a Heavy Equipment Operator will carry out assignments related to operation of heavy equipment in relation to the following areas:
Responsibilities and Duties
Completes Trenching &amp; Pit Excavations (If Applicable)<ul><li>
Controls and maintains lay-out lines during excavation.</li><li>
Maintains OSHA standards with benching and slopes during and after operation.</li><li>
Determines what type of lay-back or bench is needed for safe working conditions by type of soils.</li><li>
Determines what type of equipment is needed.</li></ul>
Completes Finishing Applications and Hoisting<ul><li>
Exercises the proper methods of backfilling in lifts (for example keep lifts level and consistent for proper compaction.)</li></ul>
Qualified Candidate:<ul><li>
Must be willing to work in all kinds of weather and working conditions. Must be willing to assume the physical risks of working in an outdoor environment which includes but is not limited to traffic, construction equipment, extreme heat and/or cold and wildlife.</li><li>
Must have ability to exert physical effort, handling average weight objects up to 50 pounds.</li><li>
Be able to pass hair follicle drug screen and background check.</li></ul>
