ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 
<ul>
<li>Perform and document all basic technical and emergency nursing skills, within the framework of licensure and as outlined on individual care plans</li>
<li>Document care delivery</li>
<li>Conduct observations, medication, and treatments promptly and accurately</li>
<li>Assume charge nurse duties when designated including but not limited to adjusting assignments and schedules to best meet needs of residents with appropriate use of personnel</li>
<li>Assess and document health status of all residents who are unstable or requiring intervention</li>
<li>Make rounds with physicians</li>
<li>Transcribe physicians orders</li>
<li>Assist, develop, revise, and review resident care plans</li>
<li>Evaluate staff observations</li>
<li>Use equipment and supplies in a precise, accurate, calm manner</li>
<li>Replace absent staff as necessary</li>
<li>Has access to confidential information and maintains confidentiality</li>
<li>Project a positive image of the organization in dealing with residents/clients, co-workers, and public</li>
<li>Additional duties as assigned</li>
