Qualified candidates must possess an appropriate Bachelor&rsquo;s degree and certification in the state of Missouri. Coaching and organization sponsor opportunities are available. 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>
Plans for and guides the learning process to help students achieve educational objectives</li><li>
Selects and utilizes effective and appropriate instructional strategies</li><li>
Establishes a cooperative relationship with all students</li><li>
Works collaboratively with school personnel to achieve the goals outlined in the building improvement plan</li><li>
Advises parents and/or legal guardians of student progress for the purpose of communicating expectations; student's achievements; developing methods for improvement</li><li>
Administers subject specific assessments, district and/or state tests for the purpose of assessing student competency levels and/or developing individual learning</li><li>
Analyzes assessment data for the purposes of providing intervention and enrichment opportunities</li><li>
Manages student behavior for the purpose of providing a safe and productive learning environment</li><li>
Engages in professional growth activities through an ongoing program of job-related knowledge and skill development</li><li>
Maintains regular and dependable attendance</li></ul></div>

2026-2027 Middle School Teacher - Social Studies
