Job Description 
We're looking for a detail-oriented and reliable General Maintenance Technician to join our team at Grand Mercure Mysore, India. In this role, you'll play a vital part in keeping our facilities safe, functional, and well-maintained. You'll perform a diverse range of maintenance tasks, from troubleshooting equipment to installing fixtures, ensuring that our environment remains secure and welcoming for all who use it. Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on all property facilities and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and longevity</li><li>
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various building systems and equipment, addressing issues promptly and efficiently</li><li>
Install fixtures, electrical equipment, and other components according to specifications and safety standards</li><li>
Conduct regular safety inspections throughout the property and take immediate corrective action to address any hazards</li><li>
Respond to maintenance requests and assist occupants with facility-related inquiries in a helpful and informative manner</li><li>
Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections in an organized manner for record-keeping and compliance purposes</li><li>
Collaborate with team members and other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure minimal disruption</li><li>
Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute innovative solutions to enhance maintenance efficiency</li><li>
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, properly storing tools and materials</li><li>
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance duties</li></ul> 

Qualifications 
<ul><li>
Proven experience in building or property maintenance, with a solid understanding of facility operations</li><li>
Strong mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge of various building systems and equipment</li><li>
Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues</li><li>
Proficiency in basic electrical and plumbing work (preferred)</li><li>
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and maintenance manuals</li><li>
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with occupants and team members</li><li>
Highly responsible, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards of work</li><li>
Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks</li><li>
Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and working at heights when necessary</li><li>
Attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance</li><li>
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a maintenance team</li><li>
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving facility needs</li><li>
Valid driver's license (preferred, for site-related travel if applicable)</li></ul></div>
