Job Summary:
PERFORMS TESTS AND PROCEDURES IN ONE OR MORE AREAS OF THE CLINICAL LABORATORY WITH INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT REQUIRED. MEDICAL TECHNOLOGISTS ARE ACCOUNTABLE FOR ACCURATE RESULTS AND THE PROPER USE OF QUALITY CONTROL MATERIALS AND EVALUATION OF THOSE RESULTS. THEY MUST RECOGNIZE THE INTERDEPENDENCY OF TESTS AND CONDITIONS THAT AFFECT TEST RESULTS AND PARTICIPATES IN CONTINUING EDUCATION, COMPETENCY AND PROFICIENCY TESTING.<h6 class="jobSectionHeader"> 
What qualifications you will need:</h6><ul><li>
Registered as a clinical laboratory technician or a medical lab tech</li><li>
One year of hospital experience preferred</li><li>
Associates of science degree with 12 months training period required.</li></ul>

Job Summary and Qualifications</h5>
As a Patient Care Technician you will be a crucial member of our collaborative nursing care team, delivering hands-on care and helping create a safe, welcoming environment for patients. Your support brings comfort, dignity, and connection to those who need it most &ndash; and helps make our mission to improve lives a reality for patients every day.
Your responsibilities will include:
<ul><li>Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth procedures and recovery</li><li>
Providing non-medicated care like dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices</li><li>
Keeping patient areas, operating rooms, and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency</li><li>
Managing supplies, equipment, and environmental logs to keep the team ready and protect patients through infection control</li><li>
Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team while promoting safety and quality efforts</li></ul><h6 class="jobSectionHeader">
What qualifications you will need:</h6><ul><li>
Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date</li></ul>
