<div>Granger Medical Clinic has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Medical Assistant in our Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology department at our Murray location. 
 
Overview:<ul><li>
Candidate will work closely with physicians and support staff to provide patient care including telephone triage, insurance authorizations, recording of vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, etc.), administration of immunizations, phlebotomy, maintenance of exam rooms and filing.</li>

Schedule: mostly 9-10 hour days, same day off each week 
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:<ul><li>
High School Graduate or G.E.D. equivalent.</li><li>
Medical Assistant Certification preferred.</li><li>
1 - 2 years of Medical Office experience preferred</li><li>
Excellent customer service skills able to communicate courteously and effectively to patients.</li><li>
Must be dependable, flexible, and multi-task oriented.</li><li>
Enjoy working with people, being a team player and willing to help others with tasks.</li><li>
Must be able to read, communicate and write well in English.</li><li>
Must be able to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing with Physicians, clinic staff and patients.</li><li>
Additional languages helpful but not required.</li></ul> 
Essential Functions and Duties:<ul><li>
Record all demographic information necessary to contact patients and do prior authorization for medications and procedures.</li><li>
Prepare patients for exams and supply the provider with all relevant information (lab results, vital signs, medications, allergies).</li><li>
Communicate with patients regarding their appointment scheduling and other needs.</li><li>
Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>

Standing and walking for extended periods, Lifting up to 50lbs.</li><li>
Repetitive motion associated with operating a computer and other office equipment.</li><li>
Inside, climate-controlled working conditions.</li></ul>

The salary range listed is the base salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors including but not limited to work experience, education, and/or skill level.

We are looking for a friendly and professional Laboratory Assistant to join our lab team and continue on working together to provide excellent patient care. Your experience in specimen processing, pleasant personality and desire to make a difference will be great asset to our team. The ideal Laboratory Assistant will have laboratory experience (phlebotomy, specimen processing, or laboratory assistant).
Location: Taylorsville
Schedule: PRN-Day and Evening shifts as needed
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:<ul><li>
Basic knowledge of medical terminology.</li><li>
Great communication with patients.</li><li>
Enjoy working with others, being a team player and willing to help others with tasks.</li><li>
Must be able to read, write and understand English.</li></ul> 
Essential Functions and Duties:<ul><li>
Unpacks samples brought to the lab from other locations via courier, ensuring all samples are accounted for and all documents are complete, and scanning them into the LIS to mark them &quot;Received&quot;</li><li>
Performs waived tests (Note: STAT tests do not take priority over unpacking the courier run, as performing tests is a secondary job duty. If the courier run is in the lab, MLTs and MTs of any level should run STAT waived tests)</li><li>
Inoculates appropriate growth media with culture specimens</li><li>
Cleans glass pipettes according to established laboratory protocols</li><li>
Performs any work-related task assigned by MLTs or MTs of any level</li><li>
Wipes countertops, tables, shelves, cabinets, external instrument surfaces etc. with appropriate wipes in order to keep them clean and free of dust</li><li>
Helps organize lab space</li><li>
Other duties as assigned</li></ul> 
Education and Experience:<ul><li>
At least 1 year of laboratory experience.</li><li>
High School Graduate or equivalent.</li><li>
Previous Specimen processing, or equivalent, experience strongly preferred</li></ul>

Sedentary work, requiring lifting up to 10lbs</li><li>
