Grant Leading Technology (GLT) is seeking a Senior Budget Analyst to join our dynamic team. This remote position offers the opportunity to contribute to nationwide infrastructure projects for a federal agency. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in budget development, financial forecasting, and reporting for large-scale government projects.

Responsibilities</b></p>
<p>
As the Senior Budget Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting project financial management by providing comprehensive budget analysis, forecasting, and performance tracking. Your responsibilities will include:</p>
<ul><li><b>
Financial Forecasting &amp; Reporting:</b></li><li><ul><li>
Perform financial forecasting and reporting, including tracking operational metrics to ensure project financial health</li><li>
Develop financial models to support decision-making and improve budget accuracy</li><li>
Report on financial performance, preparing concise summaries for leadership reviews</li></ul>
</li><li><b>Data Analysis &amp; Insights:</b></li><li><ul><li>
Analyze financial data to identify trends, perform variance analysis, and offer recommendations for improvements</li><li>
Guide cost analysis processes, ensuring alignment with policies and procedures</li><li>
Evaluate financial performance by comparing actual results with forecasts and budgets</li></ul>
</li><li><b>Collaboration &amp; Stakeholder Engagement:</b></li><li><ul><li>
Work closely with the Project Management and Stakeholder teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting</li><li>
Provide recommendations and strategic input for financial planning and decision-making</li><li>
Lead the development of cost lifecycle analyses, including Spend Plans and Obligation Plans</li></ul>
</li><li><b>Process Improvement &amp; Market Intelligence:</b></li><li><ul><li>
Provide input on market research, business intelligence, and valuation comparisons</li><li>
Maintain strong analytical approaches for fiscal forecasts, expenditure tracking, and cost modeling</li><li>
Streamline financial reporting functions and contribute to continuous improvement efforts</li></ul></li></ul><br>

<p><b>
Qualifications and Education Requirements</b></p>
<ul><li><b>
Experience:</b> 10+ years of related experience in budget analysis or financial management</li><li><b>
Education:</b> Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or Business Administration</li><li><b>
Technical Skills:</b></li><li><ul><li>
Expertise in Excel, including advanced formulas and functions</li><li>
Proficient in financial systems such as Prism, Delphi, and other government financial tools</li><li>
Minimum of 5 years&rsquo; experience with automated reporting and forecasting tools</li><li>
Knowledge of ERP systems and related technologies</li></ul>
</li><li><b>Skills &amp; Abilities:</b></li><li><ul><li>
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and perform variance analysis</li><li>
Ability to work independently, handle ambiguity, and make data-driven recommendations</li><li>
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate with executive-level management</li><li>
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to present complex financial information clearly</li><li>
Adaptability and a passion for continuous learning and process improvement</li><li>
US resident with an ability to pass public trust clearance.</li></ul>
</li></ul>
<p><b>Preferred Skills</b></p>
<ul><li> FMVA or similar financial certifications</li></ul>
<ul><li> In-depth knowledge of federal government financial processes and terminology</li></ul>
<ul><li> Familiarity with GSA, eRETA system, and the RWA process</li></ul>
<ul><li> Experience with data query and management tools such as Access, SQL, or Business Objects</li></ul><br>
