<div>Summary 
 
We are currently seeking Full-Time Lead Teachers to join our team at our Exeter center. This is a co-lead teaching position, working collaboratively with another Lead or Associate Teacher to create a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for young children.

Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>
Ensure the care, safety, and well-being of preschool children at all times.</li><li>
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote growth across all learning domains.</li><li>
Collaborate effectively with co-teachers to maintain a consistent and supportive classroom environment.</li><li>
Foster positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff.</li><li>
Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom space.</li><li>
Follow all licensing regulations, center policies, and procedures.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Position Details:</h3><ul><li>
Location: Exeter, NH</li><li>
Hours: Monday &ndash; Friday, between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM (exact shifts may vary)</li></ul> 

Duties 
<ul><li>
Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.</li><li>
Lead by example, encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching.</li><li>
Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive and emotional growth.</li><li>
Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences.</li><li>
Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.</li><li>
Ensure a healthy classroom environment including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.</li><li>
Supervise child care assistants and classroom volunteers to ensure they are following planned activities, hygiene and safety standards.</li><li>
Maintain accurate records, forms and files.</li><li>
Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.</li></ul> 

Requirements 
 
A lead teacher in a center-based program shall have a high school diploma or equivalent, including but not limited to General Equivalency Diploma (GED), a High School Equivalency Test (HiSet), or a Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC), be at least 18 years old, and have one of the following: Page 79 He-C 4002.35 Requirements for Child Care Staff in Center-based Programs
 
 (1) A minimum of 18 credits in related coursework, including at least 3 credits in child or human growth and development, plus a minimum of 1000 hours experience working with children in a licensed child care program or public or private elementary school;
 
(2) A minimum of 12 credits in related coursework, plus 3000 hours experience working with children in licensed child care program or public or private elementary school;
 
(3) Documentation of a non-expired child development associates (CDA) in center-based programs awarded by the council for professional recognition; 
(4) A credential from a teacher preparation program accredited by MACTE;
 
(5) Five years as a licensed family child care provider with no enforcement actions imposed by the department;
 
(6) Successful completion of the New Hampshire Early Childhood Apprenticeship Program; 
(7) A minimum of 1000 hours of supervised child care experience in a licensed child care program, documentation of successful completion of a 2-year vocational course in career and technical education with an additional 9 credits in related coursework; or (8) Documentation from or on file with the department that she or he was qualified for and employed in the position of lead teacher on or before November 6, 2017.
