SUMMARYThe operations manager directs and manages all shop and field service activities with overall responsibilities for safety, training, production, quality, inspection, sourcing materials, and other production-related activities.RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Direct and manage shop and field operations for safety, quality, production, maintenance, and shipping and receiving.</li><li>Inspect and monitor work areas, examine tools and equipment and employee safety to prevent, detect, and correct unsafe conditions or violations of procedures and safety rules.</li><li>Coordinate production activities through planning with technicians and/or departmental managers to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.</li><li>Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment; replace or make adjustments to plant facilities and equipment when necessary.</li><li>Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives.</li><li>Incorporates shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel.</li><li>Assists sales and business administration with product knowledge, quote and customers support</li><li>Sources parts and materials for any required production needs.</li><li>Adheres to business processes and utilizes company ERP for POs, Routers, PODs, Time Sheets, Timecards and all other business processes.</li><li>Provides direction, development and leadership to staff.</li><li>Comply with all local, state, federal and regulatory agency regulations</li></ul>&middot; Job duties are subject to change as directed by managementEDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS &middot; High School diploma/GED required, 2 year Associate Degree in a mechanical preferred.&middot; 5+ years of previous valve repair experience desired.&middot; Good communication/customer service skills.&middot; Valid driver's license with clean driving record&middot; Experience in reading blueprints, and other technical diagrams.&middot; Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50lbs.&middot; Must be able to stand, kneel, and walk for long periods of time.&middot; Must have clean background and be able to pass both a pre-employment &amp; random drug test(s).&middot; Knowledge of rigging, lifting and moving heavy and awkward products.&middot; Able to work in abnormal (heat/cold/clean room) operating conditions.Job Type: Full-timePay: $52,603.66 - $63,350.64 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
