 What is needed for this job
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 High school diploma, Associate/Bachelor degree or college credits from an accredited college or university in childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Are 21+ and have 2+ years of experience working with children in a professional, volunteer, or familial capacity
 </li>
 <li>
 Passionate about working with children in a fun, diverse environment
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to pass all relevant clearances
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>

 Finding new and engaging ways to help kids learn
 </li>
 <li>
 Being patient and kind with our parents
 </li>
 <li>
 Designing age appropriate lesson plans and activities
 </li>
 <li>
 Cultivating and fostering a safe and nurturing environment that will encourage physical, emotional, and intellectual growth of children in the program
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintaining required program records, including child files and portfolios
 </li>
 <li>
 Adjusting curriculum to ensure that all children meet the learning objectives
 </li>
 <li>
 Utilizing state and YMCA guidelines to ensure the safety and well being of the children
 
 
 </li>
