We are a family-oriented company that values hard work, positive attitudes, teamwork, and long-term commitment.Position OverviewThis position primarily focuses on yard operations by running heavy equipment. In addition to operating heavy equipment, this role also serves as a back up delivery driver using a company provided small single-axle delivery dump truck.We are seeking a self-motivated, dependable team player with strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service. Delivery and equipment experience are preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. We hire for attitude first.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Safely operate a company-provided small delivery dump truck</li><li>Use GPS navigation to efficiently reach delivery locations</li><li>Communicate professionally with customers and office/yard staff</li><li>Provide excellent customer service on every delivery</li><li>Perform basic truck maintenance (fluid checks, general inspections)</li><li>Follow all company policies and safety regulations</li><li>Operate heavy equipment including wheel loaders, excavators, and other yard machinery</li><li>Perform basic equipment maintenance such as checking oil levels and greasing</li></ul>Schedule<ul><li>Monday&ndash;Friday: 7:45 AM &ndash; 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)</li><li>Saturday: 7:45 AM &ndash; 12:00 PM (March&ndash;September only)</li><li>Average weekly hours: 40&ndash;55</li><li>Closed the two weeks surrounding Christmas and New Year&rsquo;s Day</li><li>During peak season (March&ndash;May), end times may occasionally extend to 5:15&ndash;5:30 PM depending on assigned loads</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Starting at $17.00/hour+, based on experience</li><li>Free full benefits</li><li>IRA with 3% company match</li><li>Paid holidays and paid vacation</li><li>Performance-based summer and Christmas bonuses</li><li>Annual raises based on performance</li><li>Family-oriented, laid-back work environment</li><li>Long-term, stable position</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Punctual, dependable, and able to work at a fast pace with attention to detail</li><li>Excellent attendance is required</li><li>Strong communication skills for working with coworkers and customers</li><li>Customer-service focused mindset</li><li>Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen</li><li>Provide clean/near clean driving record-no DUIs. reckless driving, etc. Can be obtained from BMV website or BMV branch/kiosk.
