Project Bihar is a regional intelligence and storytelling platform focused on Bihar (emphasis on Mithila region). We're building a data-driven content ecosystem that highlights untold stories, holds power accountable, and creates a digital hub for Bihar's changemakers - from IAS officers to entrepreneurs, ancient heritage to modern startups.We're looking for a co-founder to build this from the ground up. You'll own content strategy, research, production, and community building while earning equity in the platform.THIS IS NOT A TRADITIONAL JOB:<ul><li>No salary for the first 6-9 months (equity-based only)</li><li>You'll work hours/week to build this page along with us</li><li>You'll transition to paid co-founder role (&#8377;25-30K/month) once we hit growth milestones</li><li>You'll own Significant % of everything we build</li></ul>This is for someone who wants to BUILD something meaningful, not just get a job or internship certificate.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESContent Research &amp; Intelligence (40% of time)<ul><li>Research notable personalities from Bihar: IAS/IPS officers, entrepreneurs, scientists, artists, writers, activists</li><li>Build databases of startups, achievements, historical facts, current initiatives</li><li>Conduct interviews (email/DM/calls) with changemakers and policymakers</li><li>Track policy changes, budget allocations, development metrics across Bihar regions</li><li>Dig through archives, government data, academic papers for untold stories</li></ul>Content Production (50% of time)<ul><li>Create 5-7 posts per week:</li><li>Reels (30-60 sec investigative/emotional narratives)</li><li>Carousels (8-10 slide data-driven deep-dives)</li><li>Single Posts (heritage, quotes, announcements)</li><li>Write scripts, source/shoot footage, edit reels (CapCut/InShot)</li><li>Design carousels in Canva (data visualizations, infographics)</li><li>Maintain content calendar: 60-65% Mithila focus, 35-40% other Bihar regions</li><li>Build content bank (always 2 weeks ahead)</li></ul>Platform &amp; Community Management (10% of time)<ul><li>Manage Instagram and Twitter/X (posting, scheduling, engagement)</li><li>Respond to DMs and comments, build follower relationships</li><li>Track metrics: engagement rate, save rate, share rate, follower growth</li><li>Weekly performance analysis and strategy adjustments</li></ul>REQUIREMENTSMust Have:<ul><li>Current college student (2nd/3rd/4th year) or recent graduate (within 6 months)</li><li>From Bihar or deeply connected to the region (preferably Mithila areas)</li><li>Can commit hours &amp; week for minimum 6 months</li><li>Financially able to work without salary for 6-9 months.</li><li>Basic content creation experience (any format: social media, articles, videos, college work)</li><li>Writing skills (clear, engaging, grammatically sound)</li><li>Basic video editing (CapCut, InShot, or willing to learn)</li><li>Design basics (Canva or willing to learn)</li><li>Strong research skills</li></ul>Mindset:<ul><li>Care about Bihar's development and regional representation</li><li>Ownership mentality (don't wait to be told what to do)</li><li>Comfortable with accountability content that questions status quo</li><li>Long-term commitment (12-24 months, not a 3-month project)</li><li>Can work independently with minimal supervision</li></ul>Don't Apply If:<ul><li>You need money immediately</li><li>You can't commit hours &amp; week consistently</li><li>You want just an &quot;internship certificate&quot;</li><li>You need daily hand-holding</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Internship Contract length: 6 monthsPay: Up to &#8377;25,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Work from home</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Why you want to Join this?</li><li>Did you read Whole Job Description and another information related to this job.?</li></ul>Work Location: Remote
