<div><div>Job Description &amp; Responsibilities 
The Team Leader plays a crucial role in managing the operations of a Gregorys location. This individual is responsible for ensuring our standards of quality, service, and cleanliness are upheld every hour of every day. The Team Leader will be the leader in charge when a Store Leader or Multi-Unit Leader is not present. The Team Leader will work a flexible schedule in conjunction with the other leaders to fully cover the needs of the business during all operating hours. 
This role will oversee and manage the following:<ul><li> 
People Development</li><li><ul><li>
Ensure new hires/transfers are onboarded properly to the store and thoroughly acclimated in operational, service, and knowledge functions</li><li>
Ensure teams are upholding our high standards, leading by example and educating each member of the team</li><li>
Identify and work with high potential baristas that can be developed into our next great leaders</li></ul></li><li>
Operational Standards</li><li><ul><li>
Ensure all existing and new operational standards are being executed as prescribed</li><li>
Assist with training teams on new menu and operational roll outs and ensure proper follow ups are held</li><li>
Ensure all stores are upholding Department of Health standards and are always well prepared to handle an inspection at any time</li><li>
Ensure quality standards are met by checking for taste, FIFO rotation, and visual appeal</li><li>
Ensure stores are kept immaculately clean, organized, and well merchandised at all times</li></ul></li><li>
Service Standards</li><li><ul><li>
Work side by side with teams to lead by example in 5-star service</li><li>
Coach teams to have a guest-first mentality at all times regardless of side-duty tasks that need to be completed</li><li>
Proactively manage customer concerns/issues and coach teams on how to do the same</li><li>
Become the &ldquo;Mayor&rdquo; of your store group and know a significant amount of customers on a first name basis that come into your store</li><li>
Collect customer business cards/email addresses to build a database that you can promote grass-roots marketing efforts towards to drive loyal business</li><li>
Minimize guest complaints and work with your SL/Multi-Unit to respond to all Yelp/Google/App/Email comments and go above and beyond for both positive and negative reviews</li></ul></li><li>
Facilities &amp; Maintenance</li><li><ul><li>
Proactively clean, service, and maintain all equipment and fixtures in your stores</li><li>
Hold monthly meetings with clear direction for deep cleaning tasks to be accomplished</li><li>
Quickly react to any major plumbing, electrical, HVAC, equipment, or other facility concerns that can severely impact business</li></ul></li><li>
HR Management</li><li><ul><li>
Ensure you and your team are compliant with employee labor laws</li><li>
Ensure changes to labor laws are thoroughly communicated with your teams</li><li>
Proactively manage employee issues by having regular conversations with every employee on your team, ensuring they have been heard, and working with your SL/Multi-Unit to manage concerns</li><li>
When necessary, work with your SL/Multi-Unit to deliver coaching conversations, warnings, and terminations with sufficient evidence and documentation that protects the business and the employee&rsquo;s experience</li></ul></li><li>
Financial Performance</li><li><ul><li>
Closely manage each of your store&rsquo;s controllable profit areas: sales, labor, and COGS</li><li>
Work closely with your team and SL/Multi-Unit to build customer relationships and seek out revenue drivers outside of the 4-walls of the store</li><li>
Work closely with your team to build an efficient schedule based on the needs of the business, using sales data to drive your decisions</li><li>
Manage weekly payroll reconciliation ensuring hours and tip distribution are 100% accurate</li><li>
Manage cash handling responsibilities including cash drawer counts, safe reconciliation, and bank deposits</li><li>
Actively track inventory/waste levels and ordering activity to ensure your location has sufficient product for service without exceeding COGS targets</li><li>
Ensure monthly inventory counts are completed and submitted accurately</li></ul></li></ul> 
Additional Expectations<ul><li> 
This is a hands-on role and a General Assistant Store Leader is expected to work alongside their teams to drive revenue, efficiency, and profitability. Setting and leading by example is what will drive your success</li><li>
There is no set schedule for this role. A General Assistant Store Leader is expected to be flexible in their stores based on the needs of the business and the development of their people. This includes schedules of early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.</li><li>
Regular communication with your SL/Multi-Unit is expected to keep him/her aware of the state of your businesses and the proactive solutions you are providing</li><li>

Team Leader / Shift Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.<div><ul><li>
Responsible for learning and maintaining company standards and protocols.</li><li>
Responsible for learning, understanding, and being able to speak knowledgeably about the company and the coffee program.</li><li>
Responsible for knowing and being able to speak about all coffees served in the shop including but not limited to the coffee's components, history, and how to brew those coffees.</li><li>
Operates coffee brewing equipment, grinders, scales, timers, water towers, point of sale systems, and mobile payment system.</li><li>
Restocks all areas of store including coffee bar, &amp; back rooms</li><li>
Performs opening, closing, and mid-day tasks.</li><li>
Responsible for learning and perfecting latte art.</li><li>
Assists in maintaining order and cleanliness of the store through things such as but not limited to sweeping , mopping, cleaning drains, taking out trash, surface cleaning, and dishes.</li><li>
Provides guests with a memorable experience.</li><li>
Responsible for taking guest orders and ensuring a complete and accurate order.</li><li>
Resolves guest complaints with tact and professionalism or alerts attending leader on staff to assist.</li><li>
Responsible for receiving and signing for orders from suppliers.</li><li>
Receives deliveries and checks for quality of items delivered as well as accuracy of delivery based on invoice.</li><li>
Responsible for taking and recording temperatures as required.</li><li>
Responsible for working in a high volume environment where efficiency, service, and quality must be maintained - crafts each drink with care.</li><li>

Maintains health department standards within the store.</li><li>
Keeps store clean, stocked, and organized including but not limited to pastry case, condiment station, merchandiser, grab and go refrigerator, bathroom, and walk-in refrigerator.</li><li>

Displays a positive attitude, passion for coffee, and believes each drink brings value to the customer.</li></ul>
