 Your responsibilities:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 &bull; Design &amp; implement overall recruiting strategy
 
 
 &bull; Consult managers to gather inputs on manpower requirements and job objectives
 
 
 &bull; Write and post job descriptions on career websites, and university boards
 
 
 &bull; Source candidates through databases, job portals, social media and networking
 
 
 &bull; Build talent networks to find qualified active and passive candidates
 
 
 &bull; Evaluate &amp; screen resumes and cover letters
 
 
 &bull; Use recruiting tools for objecting assessments to assess candidate skills
 
 
 &bull; Plan &amp; implement a recruitment marketing and employer branding strategy to attract high quality applicants
 
 
 &bull; Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements
 
 
 &bull; Conduct phone, skype or in-person interviews
 
 
 &bull; Provide a list of shortlisted candidates to hiring managers
 
 
 &bull; Contact new employees and prepare onboarding/orientation sessions
 
 
 &bull; Maintain a complete record of interviews and new hires
 
 
 &bull; Stay up-to-date with current recruiting methods
 
 
 &bull; Attend job fairs and career events
 
 
 &bull; Develops &amp; conducts training programs for managers with a goal of improving hiring methods and reducing turnover
 
 
 &bull; Analyzes, prepares and presents annual recruiting budget
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Skill sets/Experience we require:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 &bull; 3-5 years of proven work experience as a Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Specialist
 
 
 &bull; Good interpersonal &amp; communication skills
 
 
 &bull; Hands on experience with various selection processes like phone interviews and reference checks
 
 
 &bull; Ability to conduct different types of interviews i.e. structured, competency based &amp; behavioral interviews
 
 
 &bull; Familiarity or work experience with HR databases, applicant tracking systems &amp; candidate management systems
 
 
 &bull; Familiarity with social media
 
 
 &bull; Ability to use psychometric tests and other assessment tools
 
 
 &bull; Good knowledge of HR policies and best practices
 
 
 &bull; Ability to prioritize and complete hiring within deadlines
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Pedigree:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 &bull; Bachelor&rsquo;s/Master&rsquo;s degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, or relevant field (OR)
 
 
 &bull; Proven work experience with relevant certifications
 
 
 &bull; SHRM certified professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certifies Professional (SHRM &ndash; SCP) &ndash; optional
