DESIGNATION : HEAD - OperationsDEPARTMENT : PRODUCTIONREPORTING To : CEORESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Production Management: Planning, executing, and monitoring daily production schedules and manufacturing operations for EV assembly and testing lines. This includes managing resources and facilities to meet output targets.</li><li>Strong expertise of setting up a new factory, manufacturing line facility, and standard operating procedures.</li><li>Quality Control: Ensuring products meet strict quality parameters and industry standards to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize defects.</li><li>Supply Chain &amp; Inventory Management: Overseeing the entire supply chain, including procurement, inventory control, and logistics, to ensure the availability of raw materials and parts while optimizing material flow and minimizing costs.</li><li>Process Improvement: Developing and implementing strategies for continuous improvement using methodologies like Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to enhance efficiency, productivity, and reduce waste.</li><li>Budget &amp; Financial Management: Managing operational budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation to ensure cost-effective operations and meet financial goals.</li><li>Compliance &amp; Safety: Ensuring strict adherence to all safety protocols, environmental guidelines, and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe working environment.</li><li>Team Leadership &amp; Development: Leading, mentoring, and developing cross-functional teams, including process engineers, Supervisors and technical staff, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.</li><li>Strategic Collaboration: Coordinating with other departments, such as R&amp;D, engineering, and sales, to align operational strategies with broader business objectives and facilitate new model launches.</li><li>Data Analysis &amp; Reporting: Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyzing operational data to identify trends, pinpoint areas for improvement, and inform data-driven decision-making.</li></ul>KEY SKILLS<ul><li>Experience with EV or Automotive industries.</li><li>Proven experience in setting new factory, manufacturing line facility, and setting standard operating procedures.</li><li>Knowledge on both Electrical (Traction Battery,BMS, Power train, VCU, Wiring Harness) and mechanical(Chassis and Structural Design, Transmission, Braking System, Suspension and Axles) associated components and their development. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Exceptional leadership and team management abilities</li></ul>EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONBE / B.TECH - Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with 15+ years of experience in automotive industries, including at least 5+years in the EV industry.Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;750,000.00 - &#8377;1,200,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>ELECTRIC VEHICLE INDUSTRY: 5 years (Required)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>English,Hindi,Tamil (Required)</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>Thekkalur, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
