ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for Associate Quality Assurance Engineer having strong attention to details, and Product/Software Quality Assurance skills throughout the Software Development Lifecycle. This is a mid-level position requiring the incumbent to have comprehensive understanding all stages of software testing from test planning to test closure, warranting a high-class end product for the consumer. 


RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul><li>
Understand product requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.</li><li>
Design, write, and execute test cases and test scenarios for web and/or mobile applications.</li><li>
Perform manual testing including functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.</li><li>
Participate in automation testing activities by executing existing and writing new automated test scripts.</li><li>
Identify, log, track, and verify defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., Mantis, JIRA).</li><li>
Re-test fixed defects and validate fixes before release.</li><li>
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, product managers and senior QA engineers to clarify issues.</li><li>
Assist in preparing test reports and test summary documents.</li><li>
Participate in test planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives (Agile/Scrum).</li><li>
Follow QA best practices and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.</li></ul> 


QUALIFICATIONS
<ul><li>
Bachelor degree in Computer Sciences/Information Technology.</li><li>
0-2 years of experience in Quality Assurance domain.</li><li>
Understanding of different testing types (functional, non-functional, regression, integration, etc.).</li><li>
Familiarity with tools such as Selenium or Cypress is a plus.</li><li>
Must have good analytical skills in Identifying, documenting, and resolving issues and bugs.</li><li>
Good written and verbal communication skills</li></ul> 


LOCATION: Islamabad, Pakistan
