International Sourcing SpecialistCompany Overview: Grip Tight Tools is a growing hardware company seeking an experienced International Sourcing Specialist to help expand and optimize our global supply chain. We work with factories around the world to bring high-quality, cost-effective products to market &mdash; and we&rsquo;re looking for someone who can help manage and strengthen those international partnerships.Position Summary: The International Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing relationships with overseas factories and suppliers. This role involves negotiating pricing, ensuring product quality, and coordinating shipments while maintaining compliance with import regulations and HTS classifications.Key Responsibilities:&middot; &bull; Source new suppliers and factories overseas (primarily in Asia and other key manufacturing regions)&middot; &bull; Evaluate supplier capabilities, pricing, and production capacity&middot; &bull; Negotiate costs, terms, and lead times with factories&middot; &bull; Oversee product sampling, quality control, and order follow-up&middot; &bull; Work with freight forwarders and brokers to ensure smooth import processes&middot; &bull; Maintain and update HTS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule) codes for imported products&middot; &bull; Monitor production timelines and communicate updates with internal teams&middot; &bull; Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliersQualifications:&middot; &bull; 3+ years of experience sourcing from overseas factories (China, India, Vietnam, etc.)&middot; &bull; Solid understanding of import/export procedures and international logistics&middot; &bull; Experience working with HTS codes and customs documentation&middot; &bull; Strong negotiation and communication skills&middot; &bull; High attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities&middot; &bull; Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and sourcing platforms.3+ years Management experiencePreferred Experience:&middot; &bull; Background in supply chain management, purchasing, product development, international logistics&middot; &bull; Familiarity with quality inspection processes and product compliance standardsIf you&rsquo;re proactive, detail-oriented, and have a proven track record of working with international suppliers, we want to hear from you.References: 2 Prior References (preferred)Core Values: Respect, Honesty and Hard work are the core values of our company and we hire employees that have the same values.Salary/Benefits<ul><li>Starting salary $75,000 -95,000 (depending on experience)</li><li>Paid time off (2 weeks&rsquo; vacation after the 2nd year)</li><li>Paid holidays</li><li>401k Plan</li></ul>Job Type/Hours:<ul><li>Full-Time</li><li>Monday &ndash; Friday 8:30am &ndash; 5:30pm</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $75,000-95,000 per year (depending on experience)Work Location:<ul><li>One location (Union, NJ)</li><li>Remote Work NOT available</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>Day shift</li><li>Monday to Friday</li><li>No nights</li><li>No weekends</li></ul>Work Location: In personJob Type: Full-timePay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Shift availability:<ul><li>Day Shift (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Union, NJ 07083 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Union, NJ 07083: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
