<p>Gritman Medical Center is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Courier to join our Courier Services team. This position is responsible for driving a hospital vehicle to transport various items, including specimens, supplies, instruments, cash bags, documents, and other goods, to and from Gritman facilities and clinics on and off-campus.</p>
<h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Key Duties and Responsibilities:</b></h4>
<ul><li>Follow the daily schedule to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.</li>
<li>Handle and transport specimens and biohazardous materials safely using appropriate protective equipment.</li>
<li>Navigate to multiple locations using an electronic map or provided instructions.</li>
<li>Maintain documentation for deliveries and pickups as required.</li>
<li>Safely operate a vehicle in all weather conditions.</li>
</ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Job Requirements:</b></h4>
<p><b>
Licenses/Certifications:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Must possess a valid driver&rsquo;s license at the time of hire and maintain throughout employment.</li>
<li>Must possess valid vehicle insurance at the time of hire and maintain throughout employment.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Experience:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience following a daily schedule is preferred.</li>
<li>Familiarity with driving in diverse weather conditions is preferred.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Ability to use electronic maps for locating addresses is preferred.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Physical Demands:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Frequent lifting of items up to 20 lbs; occasional lifting up to 60 lbs (with assistance as needed).</li>
<li>Occasional pushing/pulling carts up to 60 lbs.</li>
<li>Sitting/driving for up to 2 hours at a time.</li>
<li>Frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and occasional stair climbing.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Environmental Conditions:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Work is performed both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, wind, rain, hail, snow, frost, and ice).</li>
<li>Gloves must be worn during specimen transfers and while handling biohazardous materials.</li>
</ul>
