What you'll actually do:</h4> 
Build the mission-control systems where modern web interfaces meet real-time embedded aerospace engineering.<ul><li>
Develop high-performance frontends in Angular &amp; TypeScript</li><li>
Build robust backend &amp; system components in C++</li><li>
Integrate complex services via REST, gRPC &amp; WebSockets</li><li>
Work directly with systems engineers, AI specialists, and test pilots</li></ul>

Software Engineer - Angular & C++ (m/f/x)

As part of Helsing, Europe's leading defense AI company, we are taking the next big step: developing, testing, and integrating the airframe of the next-generation CA-1 Europe combat aircraft - combining Grob's decades of aerospace engineering excellence with Helsing's cutting-edge AI capabilities to shape the future of European air power.
Your Role
As an Avionics / Electrical Systems Engineer, you take ownership of the avionics architecture that defines how our aircraft sense, communicate, and operate. You will work with modern avionics systems and contribute across the entire development cycle &ndash; from requirements definition to integration and certification.
Your Responsibilities<ul><li>
Design and development of avionics system architectures</li><li>
Integration and configuration of avionics systems</li><li>
Definition and management of system and interface requirements</li><li>
Preparation and revision of technical documentation such as system specifications, interface control documents, wiring diagrams and certification deliverables</li><li>
Technical support for prototype build, system integration, and production</li><li>
Preparation and supervision of system, integration, and test activities</li><li>
Close collaboration with internal teams as well as external suppliers and partners</li></ul>
Your Profile<ul><li>
Degree in aerospace, electrical, or systems engineering, or a comparable qualification</li><li>
Hands-on experience with Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS)</li><li>
Experience in avionics or electrical systems engineering</li><li>
Solid understanding of cockpit systems, electrical systems, bus systems, and system integration</li><li>
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken</li><li>
Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style</li><li>
Strong communication and teamwork skills</li></ul>
Advantageous Qualifications<ul><li>
Familiarity with common engineering and design tools (e.g. EWIS/harness design software)</li><li>
Knowledge of relevant aerospace certification standards (incl. EWIS regulations such as CS/FAR 25.1701 ff. or equivalent)</li><li>

Avionics / Electrical Systems Engineer (m/f/x)

Join our Engineering team and take ownership of the materials and manufacturing processes behind our high-performance composite aircraft. You will qualify materials, develop and validate our wet layup and bonding processes, and safeguard quality from material selection through certification to production.<div><h4 class="jobSectionHeader">
Key Responsibilities</h4></div><ul><li>
Selection, qualification and release of materials (CFRP/GFRP, adhesives, core materials, metals) for aerospace applications</li><li>
Development, optimization and validation of manufacturing processes with a focus on wet layup, bonding and surface treatment</li><li>
Creation and maintenance of material and process specifications and work instructions</li><li>
Handling of material and process deviations including root cause analysis and corrective actions</li><li>
Support of part and process qualification within type certification (EASA Part 21)</li><li>
Coordination and evaluation of destructive and non-destructive testing (NDT)</li><li>
Close cooperation with Design, Production, Quality Assurance and Procurement</li></ul><div><h4 class="jobSectionHeader">
Qualifications</h4></div><ul><li>
University degree in materials, aerospace, mechanical or process engineering or a comparable field, or technical training with relevant experience</li><li>
Sound knowledge of composite materials and their manufacturing processes</li><li>
Experience in aviation or a regulated industry (AS9100, EASA Part 21) is a plus</li><li>
Structured, analytical and quality-driven way of working</li><li>
