About the company:GroundWork is a consulting company based in Reading, PA that provides HVAC industry-specific training and bookkeeping solutions to our clients located across multiple states. Our programs assist our clients in developing their HVAC businesses by focusing on best bookkeeping, administrative, and management practices to achieve accurate financial reports that will steer the direction of the company.About the position:This position will provide bookkeeping support to clients in the trades, most often in the HVAC industry. This will include basic data entry, month end processes, payroll, financial reporting, job costing, cash flow, and other industry specific processes and procedures. Based on the virtual nature of coaching sessions and clients across the country, this role has the potential for flexible hours. This is a training position with the focus on bookkeeping - applicant must be proficient in communication of processes and procedures in a simple, user-friendly manner. Applicants should have previous training or troubleshooting experience.Responsibilities:Perform the following data entry and bookkeeping tasks within QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online &amp; Sage Intacct:<ul><li>Enter Accounts Payable transactions to include PO's, bills, payments, and expenses</li><li>Enter Accounts Receivable transactions to include customer invoices payments</li><li>Enter bank &amp; credit card transactions</li><li>Reconcile bank, credit card, and liability accounts at month end</li><li>Enter month end accrual and allocation entries</li><li>Generate accurate Financial &amp; CashFlow Statements</li><li>Additional responsibilities as needed</li></ul>Utilize industry specific Customer Relations Management software (dispatching software) to manage AR &amp; AP Work closely with GroundWork support staff to ensure client successRequirements:<ul><li>Must be able to work from home in a quiet environment free of distraction.</li><li>Must have reliable high-speed internet.</li><li>Good client-facing skills (customer service)</li><li>Bookkeeping Experience</li><li>Experience with QuickBooks (Desktop and/or Online) and Sage Intacct. Certifications are a plus.</li><li>This is a great position for applicants seeking full-time employment.
