In this vital role, you will implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles, helping clients develop essential skills and improve their quality of life. This paid position offers an engaging environment where your compassion, patience, and expertise will foster positive growth and independence for those you serve.Duties<ul><li>Implement behavior intervention plans tailored to each client&rsquo;s unique needs, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior management strategies. </li><li>Collect and record data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform ongoing treatment plans. </li><li>Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and hygiene routines. </li><li>Support clients in developing communication skills through teaching techniques aligned with special education principles. </li><li>Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by ensuring confidentiality of medical records and sensitive client information. </li><li>Collaborate with supervising behavior analysts to review data, adjust interventions, and update care plans as needed. </li><li>Foster a positive, motivating environment that encourages clients&rsquo; participation and progress in therapy sessions.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred. </li><li>Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical documentation, and the importance of accurate data collection. </li><li>Ability to work effectively with children and individuals requiring patient care in a compassionate manner. </li><li>Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies for supporting behavioral health needs. </li><li>Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members, families, and other healthcare professionals. </li><li>Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is required; ongoing training or coursework related to special education or behavioral health is a plus. </li><li>Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA standards in all aspects of work.
