In this role, you will assist with the procurement process by sourcing materials, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely delivery of quality products. This role is ideal for someone with a basic understanding of procurement practices who is eager to expand their experience in a dynamic work environment.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Vendor Management and Sourcing</li><li>Assist in identifying, evaluating, and selecting vendors to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring ongoing alignment with procurement standards.</li><li>Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and trends that can benefit the company&rsquo;s procurement strategy.</li><li>Order Processing and Management</li><li>Support the processing of purchase orders and ensure timely follow-ups to meet project timelines.</li><li>Track and manage order status, ensuring timely delivery and addressing any delays with vendors proactively.</li><li>Coordinate with inventory and logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow.</li><li>Quality Assurance and Cost Control</li><li>Assist in evaluating product quality and supplier compliance to ensure they meet company standards.</li><li>Help negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors to achieve cost-effective solutions.</li><li>Identify and communicate potential cost-saving opportunities in the procurement process.</li><li>Data Management and Documentation</li><li>Maintain accurate procurement records, including order details, invoices, and supplier agreements.</li><li>Update and monitor procurement reports to support decision-making and future planning.</li><li>Utilize procurement software to streamline and document processes, ensuring transparency and traceability.</li><li>Internal Collaboration</li><li>Collaborate with relevant departments (e.g., finance, logistics, production) to align procurement activities with company goals.</li><li>Participate in regular team meetings to discuss procurement challenges and opportunities.</li><li>Communicate any potential issues to stakeholders and work on solutions to minimize impacts.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Required Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Agriculture</li><li>A minimum of 6 months of experience in procurement, supply chain in agricultural field.</li><li>Basic knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and familiarity with procurement software is a plus.</li><li>Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.</li></ul>Key Competencies:<ul><li>Vendor Relationship Management: Ability to build and sustain productive relationships with suppliers.</li><li>Cost Management: Basic understanding of cost-control strategies and budget-conscious decision-making.</li><li>Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to order processing and data management.</li><li>Problem Solving: Ability to identify and address procurement challenges promptly.</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Opportunities for career growth within the procurement department.</li><li>Training and development programs to enhance procurement and supply chain skills.</li></ul>Other Details:Workdays- 6 days (Fixed Sunday Off)If you&rsquo;re eager to grow your career in procurement and supply chain management and have a proactive approach to improving processes, we encourage you to apply!
