Dear Candidates,We are seeking a Planning Engineer to manage and optimize project scheduling, production planning, and resource allocation across our GRP manufacturing operations. The candidate must have hands-on experience with ERPNext or similar ERP planning software. Planning using Excel alone will not be considered.Key Responsibilities / Job Roles<ul><li>Project Scheduling &amp; Planning</li><li>Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for production, materials, and delivery timelines using ERPNext or similar software.</li><li>Track project milestones and deadlines to ensure timely delivery of GRP products.</li><li>Update schedules dynamically based on project progress, resource availability, and customer requirements.</li><li>Resource &amp; Capacity Planning</li><li>Plan and allocateresources (manpower, machinery, and materials) efficiently to meet production targets.</li><li>Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions to optimize workflow and capacity utilization.</li><li>ERP System Management</li><li>Maintain accurate planning and scheduling data in ERPNext or similar ERP systems.</li><li>Generate progress dashboards, reports, and KPIs to support management decisions.</li><li>Ensure all data entered in ERP is up-to-date, accurate, and reflects real-time production status.</li><li>Coordination &amp; Communication</li><li>Work closely with production, procurement, design, quality, and project teams to align schedules and resolve conflicts.</li><li>Communicate delays, risks, or changes in schedules proactively to management and clients.</li><li>Support project meetings by providing planning insights and status updates.</li><li>Risk &amp; Issue Management</li><li>Identify potential project delays or resource shortages and implement mitigation plans.</li><li>Perform what-if analysis in ERP systems to forecast impacts of changes on schedules.</li><li>Reporting &amp; Documentation</li><li>Prepare weekly/monthly reports on project progress, material usage, and capacity utilization.</li><li>Maintain planning-related documentation for audits, client reviews, and management reporting.</li><li>Continuous Improvement</li><li>Recommend and implement process improvements in project planning and scheduling.</li><li>Ensure ERP system is used to its full potential to improve planning accuracy and efficiency.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.</li><li>Minimum 5 to 6 years&rsquo; experience in project planning/scheduling in GRP, fiberglass, manufacturing, or construction.</li><li>Mandatory: Hands-on experience with ERPNext or similar ERP planning software.</li><li>Knowledge of Primavera P6 / MS Project is a plus.</li><li>Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and team coordination abilities.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: AED4,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
