The Virginia Department of Elections (ELECT) is seeking a Project Manager for the implementation of the Statewide Voter Registration System (SVRS). SVRS is a statewide voter registration and election management system. This is a high-risk project and will require strict adherence to the requirements in this posting. This position is in office, the selected candidate will work at ELECT offices in Richmond, VA. The duties of the SVRS Project Manager will include:&middot; Daily interaction with stakeholders, project team members, and ELECT staff.&middot; Attendance at virtual and in-person project meetings daily.&middot; Management of project performance metrics and recording of data in CTP.&middot; Adhere to requirements of Commonwealth Project Management Standard.&middot; Work in conjunction with members of the ELECT SVRS project team.&middot; Oversee coordination of SVRS project calendar.&middot; Conduct briefings on SVRS project status to internal and external audiences, including the Interagency Oversight Committee.The required education and experience for this position are as follows:&middot; Active Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. Please upload a copy in Vector or they will not be considered.&middot; Documented risk management experience.&middot; Successful completion of a Category 1 or 2 Commonwealth of Virginia project of $5M or more, or completion of a non-COV project with a value greater than $10M as PM of record. (pls make sure their exp with this is HIGHLIGHTED on their resume)&middot; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.&middot; Familiarization with the Commonwealth Technology Portfolio highly desirable.&middot; Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.&middot; Excellent client-facing and internal communications skills, written and verbal.&middot; Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.Pay: $87.00 per hourApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Completion of a Category 1 or 2 Commonwealth project of $5M or more, or completion of a non-COV project with a value greater than $10M as PM of record / 10 Years Required.</li><li>Experience with Commonwealth Project Management (CPM) methodologies in large-scale projects (greater than $10 million and medium to high complexity) 10 Years Required.</li><li>Active Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) certification / 10 Years required.</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Documented risk management : 10 years (Required)</li><li>Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project: 10 years (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Current proof of Virginia residency.
