OverviewWe are looking for a&#8239;Senior Fullstack Developer&#8239;to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with a strong background in&#8239;Angular&#8239;and&#8239;Python/Django, capable of building scalable, data-driven applications and integrating with enterprise platforms. You will work across the full development lifecycle &mdash; from architecture and design to deployment and optimization.Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Design, build, and maintain&#8239;scalable web applications&#8239;with a strong focus on front-end performance and user experience using&#8239;Angular (TypeScript).</li><li>Develop and maintain&#8239;backend systems&#8239;in&#8239;Python/Django, supporting data aggregation, transformation, and integrations.</li><li>Build&#8239;API-first architectures&#8239;and integration workflows with enterprise systems such as&#8239;Salesforce,&#8239;Snowflake, and&#8239;Tableau.</li><li>Implement efficient&#8239;product data workflows&#8239;to validate, enrich, and share structured product information.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams &mdash; including product, data, and design &mdash; to deliver robust, user-centered solutions.</li><li>Ensure high standards of&#8239;code quality,&#8239;security, and&#8239;scalability&#8239;across all layers of the application stack.</li></ul>Qualifications <ul><li>4&ndash;5+ years&#8239;of professional experience in fullstack development using&#8239;Angular (TypeScript)&#8239;and&#8239;Python (Django).</li><li>Strong experience with&#8239;PostgreSQL&#8239;or other relational databases.</li><li>Deep understanding of&#8239;API design,&#8239;integration patterns, and&#8239;RESTful architecture.</li><li>Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and system-level thinking.</li></ul>Bonus Skills <ul><li>Experience with&#8239;Django REST Framework (DRF)&#8239;and&#8239;Celery&#8239;for background processing.</li><li>Advanced&#8239;Angular&#8239;expertise including:</li><li>Reactive programming (NgRx,&#8239;RxJS,&#8239;NGXS)</li><li>Complex form handling and&#8239;state management&#8239;(store/actions/state architecture)</li><li>Familiarity with&#8239;data pipelines,&#8239;BI integrations, or&#8239;enterprise SaaS environments.</li></ul>About GS1 EmiratesGS1 Emirates is part of the global GS1 network, a not-for-profit organization that works with industry, for industry, providing global standards and technology-neutral services and solutions to help solve the business challenges of today and tomorrow.GS1 develops and maintains the most widely used global standards for efficient business communication.
