 You will support and improve production at our Pakistan manufacturing site. You will work with operators, maintenance, quality and contractors to keep equipment running safely and reliably.  Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Operate and monitor production equipment to meet safety, quality and output targets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and coordinate timely repairs with maintenance and contractors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain accurate production and maintenance records, including downtime, changeovers and shift handovers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work with quality and safety teams to maintain Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and site EHS standards.
 </li>

 Supervise, coach and support technicians or operators to maintain consistent shift performance.
 </li>

 Identify and support continuous improvement activities that increase efficiency and reduce waste.

 Education, Experience And Skills
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or equivalent.
 </li>
 <li>
 2 to 5 years hands-on experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) setting.
 </li>
 <li>
 Practical knowledge of production equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to read technical documents and keep accurate operational records.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with compression, granulation, coating, encapsulation, filling or packing equipment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with SAP or other production record systems and strong Excel skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience supervising small teams or coaching technicians.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of sterile area procedures or cleanroom operations.
 </li>

 Understanding of risk assessment and safety hazard controls in manufacturing.

Production Support Officer

<div>Job Purpose
You will lead day-to-day Production Process at our Pakistan site. You will work closely with quality, engineering, maintenance, planning, and supply teams. We value clear decision-making, practical problem solving and coaching of people to optimize, and ensure the efficient operation of Production processes, adhering to quality standards, regulatory compliance, inspection readiness, and production schedules. The role focuses on improving operational performance, driving cost-effectiveness, and ensuring safety with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational targets and offers growth, meaningful impact on supply reliability, and a chance to help GSK unite science, technology, and talent to get ahead of disease together.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage daily production operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets.<ul><li>
</li>Provide technical authority for production processes; lead resolution of complex issues using structured root‑cause analysis<li>
</li>Drive end‑to‑end improvement initiatives to increase yield, productivity and reduce waste by identifying systemic constraints and implementing sustainable solutions.<li>
</li>Own the daily production schedule for your unit and adjust resources to meet weekly and monthly supply plans.<li>
</li>Supervise, coach, and develop production technicians to ensure right-first-time execution and safe work.<li>
</li>Act as the unit subject matter expert during internal and external inspections and support inspection readiness.<li>
</li>Lead investigations of critical deviations, support CAPA delivery and ensure timely closure of actions.<li>
</li>Identify and deliver continuous improvement projects to improve reliability, reduce waste and increase efficiency.<li>
</li>Ensure production activities follow good manufacturing practice and site quality procedures.<li>
</li>Approve and maintain production instructions, batch records, and in-process controls.<li>
</li>Plan manpower allocation based on forecast and operational needs.<li>
</li>Coordinate preventive maintenance, validations, and equipment availability with engineering.<li>
</li>Support budgeting and capital planning for the unit and contribute to operational cost control.<li>
</li>Promote a safe and open working environment and support learning from incidents and near misses.<li>
</li>Ensure risk assessments, communication, and action planning as per the Risk Management System (RMS); provide operational support as required (e.g., FLL cover, documentation, CI implementation).

</li></ul>Education, Experience and Skills
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in pharmacy or equivalent practical experience.<ul><li>
</li>Minimum 3- 7 years&rsquo; experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably pharmaceutical.<li>
</li>Strong knowledge of good manufacturing practices, batch documentation, and quality systems.<li>
</li>Practical experience managing deviations, CAPA, RMS and audit or inspection readiness.<li>
</li>Willingness to work on-site and to support shift patterns as required by site operations.<li>
</li>Experience in Multiple dosage manufacturing process.<li>
</li>Hands-on experience with Lean, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methods.<li>
</li>Practical exposure to process validation, change control and manufacturing systems.<li>
</li>Strong planning, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.<li>
</li>Experience coaching teams and supporting succession planning.
