The Marketing Assistant will work with the Marketing Coordinator in executing the various aspects of the company&rsquo;s Marketing plan including internal and external communications, development of marketing collateral, and maintaining awareness of the Company&rsquo;s social media presence.

Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Assist in planning, execution, and tracking of marketing initiatives
<ul><li>Support the coordination of campaigns and projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.</li>
<li>Maintain project documentation and follow up on action items.</li>
</ul></li><li>Review and manage company social media pages for stakeholder engagement
<ul><li>Monitor social platforms for comments and messages, ensure timely responses, and maintain brand voice consistency. Track engagement metrics and suggest improvements.</li>
</ul></li><li>Support the development of marketing materials
<ul><li>Contribute to creating brochures, presentations, conference handouts, and other collateral. Ensure materials align with brand guidelines and are optimized for print and digital formats.</li>
</ul></li><li>Coordinate promotional events and digital marketing efforts
<ul><li>Assist with event logistics, vendor communication, and promotional activities. Help implement email campaigns, paid ads, and other digital strategies.</li>
</ul></li><li>Monitor and report on marketing performance metrics
<ul><li>Collect and analyze data from campaigns, social media, and website analytics. Prepare regular reports highlighting trends, successes, and areas for improvement.</li>
</ul></li><li>Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors
<ul><li>Work closely with, sales, and operations teams to ensure marketing initiatives support business goals. Liaise with external agencies and suppliers as needed.</li>
</ul></li><li>Assist with internal and external communications
<ul><li>Draft and distribute internal newsletters, announcements, and updates to keep employees informed and engaged. Assist with external communications to key stakeholders when needed.</li>
</ul>
</li></ul>Education:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma required with some post-secondary marketing and communications education preferred.</li>
</ul>
Experience and Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>1-2 years of experience with marketing, social media, and/or administrative support is preferred</li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft office and familiar with marketing tools such as Canva, Constant contact, social media platforms, and SharePoint are preferred</li>
<li>Excellent organizational skills with a creative mindset</li>
<li>Adaptable and flexible in dynamic environments, with experience working on multiple projects concurrently</li>
<li>Excellent decision-making skills</li>
</ul>
Work Environment:
<ul>
<li>Work is performed in a typical office setting. Employee may work individually or with various teams. Computer-oriented work such as sitting and keyboarding is required.</li>
</ul>
