Job Summary GTAdjusters has immediate openings for full-time and part-time Field Claims Adjusters. We&rsquo;re seeking highly motivated professionals with experience in investigations, coverage determination, liability and damage assessments, and client reporting. Current focus areas include Accident Benefits, Bodily Injury, Commercial Liability, and Property.GTAdjusters is a stable, growing, and long-established firm providing adjusting services across Canada. We offer opportunities for experienced All-Lines insurance claims professionals and potential for advancement into supervisory roles for high-performing candidates.The successful candidate will manage claims from first notice of loss to closure, working closely with insurer clients. This is a remote position based from your area of residence, requiring a home office setup and availability during regular business hours.Duties<ul><li>Handle claims from initial assignment through to closure, including investigations, assessments, and reporting.</li><li>Conduct detailed interviews and obtain professional statements.</li><li>Liaise with investigating agencies and manage related documentation.</li><li>Maintain accurate, timely, and professional reports and file notes.</li><li>Respond to client and customer inquiries promptly, typically same-day.</li><li>Use claims management systems to update files, attach enclosures, and manage diaries.</li><li>Collaborate with supervisors on claim exposures and file development.</li><li>Manage time effectively to meet production, reporting, and authority deadlines.</li><li>Negotiate settlements and determine exposures in line with client expectations.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum 3 years&rsquo; experience in claims adjusting with insurers, corporate claims departments, or TPAs.</li><li>Strong analytical and investigative skills, including cause-and-effect analysis.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing and interviewing.</li><li>Ability to interpret complex legal documents and perform advanced numerical analysis.</li><li>Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.</li><li>Client-focused with a proactive, service-oriented approach.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills, especially in conflict resolution and relationship building.</li><li>Experience with detailed documentation and diary control.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Availability during regular business hours with flexibility for part-time or full-time work.</li><li>A valid driver&rsquo;s license and access to a personal vehicle for fieldwork.</li><li>A home office setup including:</li><li>Reliable internet connection</li><li>Cell phone</li><li>Computer or laptop</li><li>Willingness to be trained on claims management systems and internal processes.</li><li>Ability to work independently in a remote environment.</li><li>Sense of urgency and responsiveness to client and customer needs.</li><li>Willingness to grow into supervisory roles based on performance.</li></ul>Join our team as a Claims Adjuster where your expertise will make a significant impact on our clients' experiences!Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $47,500.00 - $100,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Work from home</li></ul>Work Location: Remote
