Position: Assistant Manager/Sr Engineer &ndash; Maintenance Location: Viramgam, Vani, Gujarat Reporting To: Manager &ndash; Maintenance / Plant Head Department: Maintenance &amp; UtilityQualification &amp; Experience<ul><li>B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering</li><li>8&ndash;10 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment</li></ul>Industry Preference<ul><li>Automotive / Auto Ancillary Industry</li><li>Manufacturing background with mandatory experience in Plastic Injection Molding</li></ul>Role ObjectiveTo support the Maintenance function in ensuring high equipment availability, minimal breakdowns, adherence to preventive maintenance schedules, cost control, energy efficiency, and safety compliance. The role involves hands-on execution, coordination with cross-functional teams, and contributing to plant performance as per business plan targets.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance Operations<ul><li>Execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities to minimize machine downtime.</li><li>Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for recurring breakdowns.</li><li>Ensure smooth operation of machines, equipment, and utilities in coordination with production teams.</li><li>Optimize utilization of manpower, materials, and spares to reduce repair time.</li></ul>Planning &amp; Monitoring<ul><li>Assist in preparation and execution of PM schedules and ensure adherence to maintenance checklists.</li><li>Monitor daily breakdowns, maintenance KPIs, machine health, and utility performance.</li><li>Support machine fitness checks, daily NC closure, and maintenance documentation.</li></ul>Cost, Energy &amp; Utility Support<ul><li>Assist in monitoring maintenance costs, energy consumption, and utility performance.</li><li>Support initiatives aimed at cost reduction, energy saving, and improvement in overall equipment efficiency.</li></ul>Safety, Compliance &amp; Audits<ul><li>Ensure safe working practices and statutory compliance of machines and utilities.</li><li>Support compliance with ISO, IATF 16949, EMS 14001, and internal/customer audit requirements.</li><li>Assist in audit preparation and closure of non-conformities within defined timelines.</li></ul>People Coordination &amp; Development<ul><li>Supervise technicians and contract manpower during shifts and maintenance activities.</li><li>Support training, skill development, and discipline within the maintenance team.</li><li>Coordinate effectively with production, quality, stores, and external vendors.</li></ul>Key Skills / Competencies<ul><li>Hands-on experience in maintenance of injection molding machines and utilities</li><li>Good knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance systems</li><li>Working knowledge of ISO &amp; IATF 16949 standards</li><li>Analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Cost awareness and basic energy management knowledge</li><li>Effective communication and team coordination abilities</li></ul><ul><li>Contact 9054766447</li></ul>Biz Experts Junction Private LimitedJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
