Position Summary: 
 
Guardant Health is seeking a high performing Regional Strategic Account Manager, Health Systems to expand adoption of Shield and Guardant&rsquo;s broader portfolio across prioritized Regional IDNs and Organized Customer Groups . This role leads enterprise growth by building and executing strategic account plans, engaging C/D-suite and senior clinical/operational leaders, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver scalable implementation and measurable outcomes.
The SAM is a consultative, outcomes-oriented leader who can navigate complex health system environments, drive diagnostic adoption through workflow and integration enablement, and consistently deliver results&mdash;while operating with the highest standards of integrity and compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
<ul><li>Develop and execute multi-year strategic account plans across assigned health systems, including stakeholder mapping, opportunity sizing, prioritization, and cross-functional execution rhythms.
</li><li>Build strong relationships with enterprise decision-makers and influencers (C/D-suite, service line leaders, population health, quality, finance, operations, IT) and align Guardant solutions to strategic priorities.
</li><li>Drive Shield adoption and scale through health system enablement, including clinical workflow development, EMR integration support, pilot design/execution, metric definition, and enterprise rollout.
</li><li>Identify gaps in care delivery and operational barriers to adoption; translate insights into solution strategies that support transformative change and measurable impact.
</li><li>Lead QBRs/MBRs with defined performance metrics to track progress, quantify value, and evolve expansion plans.
</li><li>Coordinate closely with internal Guardant teams (e.g., Medical, Market Access, Implementation, Informatics/IT enablement, Marketing, Sales Ops, Legal/Compliance) to ensure aligned, compliant execution.
</li><li>Maintain fluency in market dynamics shaping health system decisions&mdash;policy trends, quality frameworks, value-based care progression, and risk-based contracting structures (e.g., ACO/shared savings, capitation/global budgets, bundled payments, Medicare Advantage risk, and commercial value-based contracts).
</li><li>Consistently meet or exceed goals with strong CRM discipline, forecasting accuracy, teamwork, and contribution to best-practice playbooks.
</li><li>Represent Guardant Health&rsquo;s mission, culture, and values to internal and external stakeholders.
</li><li>Adhere to all Compliance, Regulatory, and Quality Management System (QMS) policies.

<ul><li>5+ years Account Management at C/D-Suite
</li><li>Proven experience in strategic/enterprise account management strategy, navigation, and revenue adoption within complex health systems/IDNs and organized customer structures.
</li><li>Strong background in diagnostics adoption within health systems , including navigating clinical stakeholders, lab/diagnostic pathways, enterprise governance, and multi-site standardization.
</li><li>Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives and driving progress without direct authority .
</li><li>Track record of enabling adoption through workflow change and/or EMR-enabled implementation (directly or in partnership with internal teams).

Position Summary:
The Clinical Laboratory Associate (CLA) II is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Clinical Laboratory and assisting the Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) during patient testing. In addition to the primary role of CLA, there will be a need to provide back-up support to the other groups (Reporting, Biospecimen Management, QC, etc.). The CLA II may serve as a lead to the CLA team to coordinate tasks, divide workload, manage equipment usage schedule and documents reviewing/filing process as assigned. The CLA II has demonstrated the skills and competency to assist the CLSs in automated sample processing and in all other support functions.
The nature of the work requires excellent attention to detail, effective written and verbal communication skills, the ability to multitask and be flexible with tasks and schedules, and the ability to work independently in a team environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
In accordance with California Business and Professions Code BPC &sect; 1269, the following activities may be performed under the supervision of the laboratory director or appropriately licensed personnel:
<ul><li>Sample collection or receipt, sample preparation, labeling, handling, preservation or fixation, assay processing or preparation, and/or transportation and storage of specimens;
</li></ul><ul><li>Assist the CLSs in a licensed clinical laboratory in performing sample processing;
</li></ul><ul><li>Assist the CLSs during automated methods of patient testing;
</li></ul><ul><li>Perform routine equipment maintenance according to the laboratory&rsquo;s standard operating
</li></ul>procedures;
<ul><li>Create sample batches, print labels and label tubes and plates;
</li></ul><ul><li>Assist licensed testing personnel in troubleshooting activities;
</li></ul><ul><li>Prepare and store reagents for sample processing and sample archiving;
</li></ul><ul><li>Order and stock laboratory supplies;
</li></ul><ul><li>Print and file of laboratory records;
</li></ul><ul><li>In the case of qualitative and semi-quantitative tests, the unlicensed personnel may add the test reagent to the specimen or vice versa, but the results must be read by the laboratory director or appropriately licensed personnel.
</li></ul><ul><li>Check, monitor and resolve routine cold storage temperature and laboratory temperature and initiate a service request as necessary;
</li></ul><ul><li>Perform general laboratory tasks include cleaning of racks, laboratory equipment and benches;
</li></ul><ul><li>Document all corrective actions taken when test systems deviate from the laboratory&rsquo;s established
</li></ul>performance specifications;
<ul><li>Assist with internal audits and inspection preparation,
</li></ul><ul><li>Organize the maintain schedule of the laboratory and equipment;
</li></ul><ul><li>Ensure calibration of laboratory equipment is scheduled and performed on time;
</li></ul><ul><li>Ensure laboratory equipment is properly labeled;
</li></ul><ul><li>Write and revise standard operating procedures under supervisor instruction, as needed;
</li></ul><ul><li>Identify process improvement opportunities and report to laboratory management;
</li></ul><ul><li>Perform other duties as assigned; and
</li></ul><ul><li>Report all concerns of test quality and/or safety to the Laboratory Supervisor, Laboratory Director or Safety Officer.
</li></ul>Qualifications:
<ul><li>Minimum of Associate degree or equivalent required;
</li></ul><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent in Biomedical Laboratory Science, Clinical Science or related field
</li></ul>preferred;
<ul><li>At least one year of Guardant Health Clinical Laboratory experience or equivalent high complexity and volume laboratory experience preferred;
</li></ul><ul><li>Strong computing skills;
</li></ul><ul><li>Proficiently executed Good documentation practices;

</li></ul>Qualifications:
<ul><li>Experience: A minimum of 4 years of customer-facing sales experience in the healthcare industry (diagnostics, medical device, or pharmaceutical sales), or a minimum of 2 years of customer-facing sales experience in the healthcare industry and direct clinical experience in a patient care environment, as a registered nurse or a physician assistant. Experience in these areas with a proven track record of success and achievement drive.
<ul><li>Preferred: Experience with diagnostic products, particularly blood-based testing or cancer screening products, directly to primary care providers. Familiarity with the primary care landscape in your assigned territory is a plus.
</li></ul></li><li>Sales Expertise : Demonstrated ability to engage in selling conversations, overcoming objections and aligning client needs with product offerings. Preferred: Proven experience in planning and executing product launches in the healthcare or diagnostic space.
</li><li>Product Knowledge : Strong understanding of the healthcare provider landscape, with the ability to quickly learn and apply technical product knowledge to drive sales.
</li><li>Communication Skills : Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information in an easily understandable manner.
</li><li>CRM Proficiency : Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce, Veeva, or similar platforms for tracking customer interactions and sales progress.

Hybrid Work Model: This section is applicable to onsite employees who are eligible for hybrid work location as specified by management and related policies. Guardant has defined days for in-person/onsite collaboration and work-from-home days for individual-focused time. All U.S. employees who live within 50 miles of a Guardant facility will be required to be onsite on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
