With strategically located gear depots across the United States, Guardian can service clients within one business day in most markets.&lt;Responsibilities&gt;Providing direct support to the Director of Logistics with scheduling and monitoring transportation-related activities, including pickups and deliveries daily.<ul><li>Ensuring all required paperwork is assembled prior to booking a load</li><li>Using an online platform to connect with carriers</li><li>Negotiating rates with third party carriers</li><li>Maintaining the shipping log database</li><li>Creating and building new relationships with carriers</li><li>Creating BOL&rsquo;s and rate confirmations</li><li>Onboarding of new third party carriers</li><li>Providing rate quotes and time estimates</li><li>Booking and coordinating LTL shipments</li><li>Scheduling and tracking all trucks and trailers</li><li>Manage, coordinate and book loads for company drivers</li><li>Assisting with the maintenance and inspections of company owned trucks and trailers</li><li>Assisting with gear planning and truck routing</li><li>Brokering moves for clients</li><li>Build and create relationships with new clients</li><li>Coordinating with Guardian warehouse and field technicians</li><li>Assisting with maintaining FMSCA compliance</li></ul>&lt;Requirements&gt;<ul><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Strong communication skills</li><li>Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills</li><li>Organizational and time management skills</li><li>Adaptable to changes</li><li>Collaboration and teamwork abilities</li><li>Ability to use computers, software and other technology for inventory and communication purposes</li></ul>Pay: $55,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
