As a key member of our Materials team, this role supports day-to-day purchasing while ensuring materials are ordered, tracked, and received in support of production and customer delivery commitments. The ideal candidate is someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable executing tactical purchasing activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while embodying Guardian Booth&rsquo;s values of customer focus, collaborative innovation, relentless progress, empowered ownership, and fiscal responsibility.The position is based out of our Waynesboro, PA facility, and reports to the Materials Manager.Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage purchase orders for direct materials and MRO items, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely issuance.</li><li>Support inventory reconciliation activities to maintain accurate stock levels and prevent discrepancies.</li><li>Assist logistics with customs documentation and coordination for cross-border shipments, ensuring compliance and timely delivery.</li><li>Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to monitor material lead times and support uninterrupted supply.</li><li>Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance purchasing efficiency and accuracy.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and transactional supplier communication.</li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned by the Materials Manager.</li></ul>The ideal candidate will have:<ul><li>Education or technical training in supply chain, logistics, or a related field, or the equivalent in work experience.</li><li>An APICS/ASCM or similar certification is a plus, but not required.</li><li>At least 2 years of purchasing experience, preferably using an ERP system.</li><li>Basic understanding of vendor management and inventory control is desirable.</li><li>Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.</li><li>Ability to analyze data, create reports, and track inventory accurately.</li><li>Willingness to learn about supply chain management and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs</li><li>Positive attitude.</li><li>Alignment with all of Guardian Booth company values.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>High school or equivalent (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Purchasing: 2 years (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Waynesboro, PA 17268 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
