The Architectural Specifications/ Design Manager is a highly skilled hybrid technical sales position and is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys selling beautiful high-end products! With a technical mindset. This position is responsible for visiting, promoting, and handling complex sales activities in middle east architecture/design and construction industry, including but not limited to visiting Architects, Fa&ccedil;ade consultants, developers, and main contractors to support our activities in the AME.
The work location for this role will be UAE. There is an option to work remotely from UAE but preference to be based in Dubai, Sharjah except Abu Dhabi as most of our customers are based around Dubai region.
Our Team
Our team focuses on driving facades opportunities to our partners. We meet with architects, facades consultants, and glaziers to assist them on projects.
What You Will Do<ul><li>
Track the most recent market intelligence information about key regional client accounts (largest developers/investors, architects, and cladders)
</li><li>Define a priority plan including the industry's key players within the region and expand the business network while maintaining existing relationships.
</li><li>Identify construction projects in the inception phase and gather information about the players involved (e.g. General Contractor, Owner, Cladder, Architect) and assess the scope of the project (e.g. product type -, volume, and future potential of the account)
</li><li>Contact and offer to collaborate with Architects to qualify the project by determining its scope: product type (value-added and high value-added products)
</li><li>Monitor the conversion rate for the leads transferred to the Territory Sales Management team.
</li><li>Conduct educational sessions on glass technologies.
</li><li>Collaborate with Architects to draft glass specifications by:
</li><li>Supporting Architects in solving potential technical processes by involving the Technical Support Team.
</li><li>Requesting and overseeing sample delivery
</li><li>Exchange in specifications and drawings process of each aspect of the project related to the facade, resulting in the final design ready for bidding
</li></ul> 
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)<ul><li>
Background in business, engineering, architecture or relevant work-related experience
</li><li>Proven sales experience in the B2B environment, preferably within the building material industry in cooperation with architects and aluminum contractors (Glass/Fa&ccedil;ade preferred)
</li><li>Strong and effective communication skills, including verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation
</li><li>Project Management, prioritization, and decision-making skills
</li><li>Self-starter mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, able to work in a team environment to support the business and strategic goals
</li><li>Fluent in English
</li></ul>What Will Put You Ahead 
<ul><li>
Sales experience and technical expertise in coated Glass products and aluminum systems construction
</li><li>Strong technical knowledge in the glass industry and technologies.
</li><li>Comfortable reviewing architectural plans and details.
</li><li>Experience with the specifying process from inception to completion.
</li><li>Experience analyzing and continually improving a multi-step and multi-strategy sales model
</li><li>Experience with SalesForce

Guardian Glass is seeking you to become our next Production Shift Supervisor at our Float Glass Facility in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.
As a Production Supervisor, you are responsible for developing your team into a high performing unit while advancing our vision and culture. You will do this by recognizing the unique skillset of your team members and aligning them in a way that creates personal fulfillment and value for the company.
The Production Supervisor is also responsible for supervising and coordinating production efforts that result in sustained improvement in all associated work processes including Environmental Health &amp; Safety (EHS), compliance, reliability, quality, production, and costs.

This role works a rotating shift pattern .
Our Team
You will join a team of shift managers, department managers, supervisors and process engineers that collaborate on a daily basis strategizing our priorities for the day.
The Production Supervisors encourage a one team on the field mentality, paying particular attention to their direct reports and general attention the workforce. This unified but dynamic team encourage the challenge process, open and honest communication and expects leadership support and feedback.
You will be part of the Float Line Team, working closely with the Operations and Engineering teams. Our division is dedicated to maintaining high standards of production efficiency and quality while fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
What You Will Do<ul><li>
Leading an operational team (8-10 employees) in a safe and efficient manner and to take ownership vision advancement, safety, quality, and productivity.
</li><li>Driving safety excellence through promoting employee involvement, ownership, and accountability to proactively eliminate hazards. Providing safety training to crew members and deliver training materials in a meaningful approach.
</li><li>Facilitating team development and communication, employee skill development, problem-solving and resolution, building employee commitment and ownership and holding employees accountable.
</li><li>Monitoring product quality and provide direction to crew members to maximize efficiency.
</li><li>Promoting employee involvement, providing coaching, feedback and direction as required.
</li><li>Assisting with troubleshooting production issues.
</li><li>Completing data entry responsibilities and generate reports in a timely and efficient manner
</li><li>Conduct annual performance reviews for direct reports and ensuring the application of the individual performance development cycle.
</li><li>Understand the cost of decisions and impact to departments and other processes
</li><li>Meet or exceed KPI goals by demonstrating success in measuring and improving processes
</li><li>Coordinate with other departments and managers to work as a team
</li></ul>Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)<ul><li>
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related discipline.
</li><li>Previous experience working in an operations environment.
</li><li>Technical &amp; Mechanical aptitude to learn a manufacturing process. Includes being logically minded and process orientated.
</li><li>Good level of communication in English.
</li><li>Experience in adapting to transformation and bringing change to the people, process, and company that will create the greatest value.
</li><li>Experience in effectively articulating verbal and written messages, information, and ideas to a diverse group of people, leading to shared understanding.
