Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Litigation Legal Assistant to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a comprehensive understanding of the litigation process. This role will involve providing essential support to attorneys in managing cases, filing court documents, calendaring deadlines and conducting legal research.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist attorneys with case preparation and management, including document review and legal drafting.</li><li>Prepare and file legal documents.</li><li>Conduct legal research utilizing tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support ongoing cases.</li><li>Manage case files and case documents</li><li>Manage attorney calendars including all upcoming deadlines and schedule client appointments.</li><li>Maintain organized records through effective filing systems and data entry practices.</li><li>Provide executive administrative support..</li><li>Collaborate on project management tasks related to litigation, contracts, and compliance matters.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant or in a similar legal administrative role is preferred.</li><li>Strong writing skills with attention to detail for proofreading documents and drafting correspondence.</li><li>Proficient in using legal software for case management and document handling.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Outlook, Excel and Teams.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.</li><li>Strong research skills with the ability to analyze information critically.</li><li>Prior paralegal experience is a plus but not required.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining confidentiality.
