What you would do:</div><ul><div><div>
Design, develop, validate and deploy cloud-native applications on the Guidewire Cloud platform.</div></div><div><div>
Collaborate within agile, fast-paced development teams, delivering product features and enhancements.</div></div><div><div>
Build scalable and secure applications, adhering to best practices for cloud environments.</div></div><div><div>
Proactively triage and resolve code defects, ensuring minimal disruption to production systems and quick issue resolution.</div></div><div><div>
Maintain secure coding practices and address application security findings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safeguarding against vulnerabilities.</div></div><div><div>
Manage and own CICD pipelines, ensuring seamless and automated application delivery.</div></div></ul><div><br>
What you would need to succeed:</div><ul><div><div>
5+ years of relevant professional experience in software development.</div></div><div><div>
Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot microservices, with a solid understanding of multithreading and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).</div></div><div><div>
Object-Oriented Design using SOLID and Hexagonal design principles.</div></div><div><div>
Proven experience with Agile development methodologies and a collaborative approach to continuous improvement.</div></div><div><div>
Strong foundation in Algorithms, Data Structures, and performance optimization techniques for scalable applications.</div></div><div><div>
Strong understanding of Unit/Integration Testing, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.</div></div><div><div>
Experience building secure software and knowledge of web security best-practices</div></div><div><div>
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker is preferable.</div></div><div><div>
Experience with relational databases (e.g., Postgres) and familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB, OpenSearch) is an advantage.</div></div><div><div>
Familiarity with LLMs and AI assistants such as Claude, Copilot is a plus.</div></div><div><div>
BS or MS degree in CS or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.</div></div></ul>
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $124,000 - $186,000 . Your base pay will depend on your experience, skills, education, training, and location among other factors. All full-time positions or part-time roles working 30 hours or more a week at Guidewire are eligible for benefits that support their health and well-being including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a company sponsored retirement plan. In addition, some roles may be eligible for the annual company bonus plan, commissions, and/or long term incentive awards which are contingent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, company and employee performance.<div></div><div>

Lead and facilitate the enterprise rollout of custom solutions that integrate Workspace functionality and enhance work productivity.</div></div><div><div>
Collaborate with Google product managers, support, and vendor teams to evaluate, test, and recommend new Google Workspace features and enhancements.</div></div><div><div>
Automate and streamline Workspace administration tasks using tools like Google Apps Script, GAM, or other scripting languages.</div></div><div><div>

Qualifications</div><ul><div><div>
5+ years of hands-on experience deploying and administering Google Workspace in an enterprise environment.</div></div><div><div>
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).</div></div><div><div>
Strong expertise in email infrastructure, mail transfer/access protocols (SMTP/IMAP/POP), and email security (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, spam/phishing protection).</div></div><div><div>
Strong experience in administering and configuring Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) and endpoint management platforms, including policy enforcement, device lifecycle management, and security controls.</div></div><div><div>
Demonstrable experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Google Apps Script, GAM, Python, or PowerShell).</div></div><div><div>
Working knowledge of broader GCP architecture and security practices, including hands-on experience with AI/LLM services, service account automation, and application integrations across Google Cloud.</div></div><div><div>
Familiarity with leveraging AI and LLM tools and features within the Google Workspace ecosystem.</div></div><div><div>
Proven ability to create high-quality design documents, system operating procedures, and technical FAQs.</div></div><div><div>
A self-starter with excellent time management skills, able to manage multiple activities simultaneously with minimal oversight.</div></div><div><div>
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented attitude.</div></div><div><div>
