 Summary
 
 
 
 
 The Digital Transformation Intern will perform a variety of duties to support the company in technological projects. The intern will participate in transforming current system infrastructure and data to a more digitized environment and maintain the integrity of the company&rsquo;s information technology department.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Support daily accounting operations, including entering and updating financial transactions and assisting with reconciliations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Help prepare routine reports and basic financial analyses by compiling, reviewing, and validating data.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain and organize financial documents for audits, compliance reviews, and internal reporting.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with accounts payable/receivable tasks and verify transaction accuracy.
 </li>
 <li>
 Clean up and streamline documentation, spreadsheets, and workflows across systems and shared drives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in process reviews and contribute to efficiency improvements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support ad-hoc projects involving data analysis, reconciliation, or operational reporting using Excel and other tools.
 </li>
 <li>
 Progress toward an Accounting degree; rising senior or advanced coursework preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Understanding of fundamental accounting concepts (debits, credits, journals, ledgers).
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data cleanup).
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with databases, Power BI, or reporting/coding tools is a plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 Detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with structured and unstructured data.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to learn new systems and collaborate with multiple departments.

 Requirements
 
 
 
 
 
 Skills/Experience/Education
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Minimum preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0.
 </li>
 <li>
 Currently pursuing a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or Master&rsquo;s degree.
 </li>
 <li>
 Business Majors preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Be a highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Possesses critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Essential Mental &amp; Physical Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer may be required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 15 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division any &ldquo;undue hardship&rdquo; then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.
