We are a reputed Engineering Consultancy based in Doha, currently seeking a highly skilled and creative Concept Design Architect cum Interior Designer to join our team. This role combines architectural concept development with interior design expertise, requiring a dynamic professional capable of delivering innovative, functional, and aesthetically outstanding design solutions across a wide range of projects.Role Overview:The ideal candidate will lead and coordinate the conceptual design process for both architectural and interior projects, from initial ideation through to final presentation. The role demands strong leadership, design excellence, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams while ensuring high-quality project delivery.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead and manage the conceptual design process from ideation to final presentation for both architectural and interior design projects.</li><li>Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to understand project requirements and translate them into innovative and practical design solutions.</li><li>Develop integrated architectural and interior design concepts aligned with project objectives, brand identity, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Ensure compliance with architectural standards, building codes, and sustainable design practices.</li><li>Mentor and manage the Concept Design team, fostering creativity, collaboration, and professional development.</li><li>Conduct design reviews and ensure adherence to quality standards across all deliverables.</li><li>Oversee preparation of conceptual design documentation including sketches, mood boards, layouts, 3D visualizations, and presentations.</li><li>Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation during the design phase.</li><li>Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (MEP, structural, and fit-out) to ensure design integration and feasibility.</li><li>Develop detailed interior design layouts and review shop drawings.</li><li>Participate in site visits, design inspections, and construction reviews to ensure design intent is achieved.</li><li>Manage subcontractors and oversee fit-out works where required.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Architecture / Interior Design or related field.</li><li>Minimum 15 years of total experience, including at least 7 years in Qatar (GCC experience preferred).</li><li>Proven experience in leading conceptual design teams for both architectural and interior design projects.</li><li>Strong portfolio demonstrating creative, innovative, and diverse design concepts across multiple project types.</li><li>UPDA Certification.</li><li>Experience in handling projects such as commercial buildings, luxury villas and palaces, mixed-use developments, hospitality, healthcare, educational facilities, towers, and government projects.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of design stages (CD, SD, DD, IFT, IFC).</li><li>Strong understanding of various design styles including Classical, Islamic, Moroccan, Modern, and Contemporary.</li><li>Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max (V-Ray/Corona), Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite.</li><li>Ability to produce high-quality 3D visualizations, animations, and 360-degree renders.</li><li>Strong knowledge of technical drawings, materials, specifications, and coordination with MEP/structural disciplines.</li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong client-handling abilities.</li><li>Strong leadership qualities with the ability to mentor and manage teams effectively.</li><li>Solid project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.</li><li>Extensive experience in site supervision, fit-out works, and subcontractor coordination.</li></ul>What We Offer:GCG offers a highly competitive and attractive remuneration package along with the opportunity to work on prestigious and large-scale projects.If you meet the above criteria, please send your CV &amp; Portfolio to hr@gcg.com.qaWork Location: In person
