Job Title: Structural Engineer (Mid-Career)Company: Gulf Engineering and ConsultantLocation: Dubai, UAEJob SummaryGulf Engineering and Consultant is seeking a mid-career Structural Engineer to join our Dubai office. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in structural design, analysis, and coordination for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects, with strong knowledge of local authority requirements and industry standards.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete and steel structures.</li><li>Prepare and review structural design calculations, drawings, and technical reports.</li><li>Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and other disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions.</li><li>Ensure designs comply with relevant international codes (ACI, ASCE, IBC) and UAE local authority regulations.</li><li>Provide technical support during construction, including site inspections and responding to RFIs.</li><li>Assist in value engineering and design optimization without compromising safety and quality.</li><li>Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and company procedures.</li><li>Support junior engineers and contribute to internal technical reviews.</li></ul>Job Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master&rsquo;s degree is an advantage).</li><li>Minimum 5&ndash;8 years of relevant experience in structural engineering consultancy.</li><li>Prior experience working in the UAE is required.</li><li>Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and structural steel design.</li><li>Familiarity with Dubai Municipality regulations and approval processes.</li><li>Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (ETABS, SAFE, Prokon etc).</li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit Structure is an advantage.</li><li>Strong understanding of construction practices and site coordination.</li><li>Good communication and report-writing skills in English.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-time
