About the Position</b>: Our IT User Experience Team is seeking a curious and motivated UX Intern with a passion for problem solving and user-centered design. In this role, you will explore and apply research-driven design methods to better understand user needs and help shape intuitive, effective digital experiences. As a UX Intern, you will gain hands-on experience with the team&rsquo;s UX processes, tools, and methodologies while working alongside experienced mentors and team members. Essential Functions</b></p><ul><li>
Assist in gathering user needs through basic design research and observation methods.</li><li>
Help document and communicate research findings and requirements to the UX team and business partners.</li><li>
Generate ideas through sketches, wireframes, mockups, and low-fidelity prototypes.</li><li>
Research existing design patterns and best practices to support design solutions.</li><li>
Participate in design critiques with UX team members and incorporate feedback.</li><li>
Assist with usability testing activities, including test preparation and note-taking.</li><li>
Support the creation of mockups and prototypes used to communicate design intent.</li><li>
Help prepare design assets and documentation for development handoff.</li><li>
Work collaboratively with designers and developers to understand design constraints and tradeoffs.</li><li>

<div><p><b>Completions Technical Design Lead - Appleton in GAC Appleton</b></p><p><b><br>
Unique Skills:</b></p><p></p><p>
This is a Tech Design Lead position in the Completions engineering group, which is responsible for VIP completions of new Gulfstream business jets. The Completions group creates new and derivative designs of interior furnishings and amenities as part of outfitting new business jet aircraft. Example designs include custom cabinetry such as galleys, lavatories, closets and other storage compartments, interior peripheries, water/waste systems, entertainment equipment installations, and seating installations. Additional responsibilities include managing interior weight, design for manufacturing, and controlling part and manufacturing costs.</p><p></p><p><br>
Candidate will be responsible for reviewing models and drawings to ensure company standards are met. Individual must have sufficient experience and skills necessary to train and mentor others in design and drafting and to review the work of others for accuracy and quality.</p><p></p><p><br>
Significant experience with AutoCad and Catia V5 is required. Experience with Smarteam or Enovia is preferred. Excellent time-management and communication skills (oral and written) are a must. This is a fast-paced manufacturing environment where schedule and budget goals need to be met.</p><p></p><p><br>
Management responsibilities involve supervising the activities of a team of employees; conducting performance reviews, coordinating activities for assigned personnel, establishing and communicating clear performance expectations.<br>
