Role Overview
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key customer relationships, and expanding Gunnebo&rsquo;s footprint in the Entrance Control segment. The role involves acquisition of new customers, management of distributor/partner networks, building long-term client relationships, understanding customer needs, and ensuring successful delivery of solutions in collaboration with internal teams.
Responsibilities<ul>

Identify and capture new business opportunities across the Western Region.</li>
<li>Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.</li>
<li>Conduct market mapping and lead generation to build a robust sales pipeline.</li>
<li>Leverage a strong understanding of market trends, customer behaviour, and competition in Goa, Gujarat, and Maharashtra.</li>
<li>Develop and execute region-specific sales strategies to maximize business potential.</li>
<li>Provide insights to management on regional opportunities and challenges.</li>
<li>Build and strengthen relationships with consultants, architects, PMCs, system integrators, and other key influencers.</li>
<li>Engage regularly with new and existing customers to understand requirements and propose suitable solutions.</li>
<li>Manage key accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.</li>
<li>Use CRM tools effectively for opportunity tracking, pipeline management, and forecasting.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and updated customer records, sales funnel data, and market insights.</li>
<li>Provide weekly and monthly sales reports for management.</li>
<li>Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Service, and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely order processing and project delivery.</li>
<li>Support marketing initiatives, events, and product promotions.</li>
<li>Share market intelligence with product and marketing teams for strategic improvements.</li>
</ul>
Requirements
<ul><li>Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, ideally in security, automation, access control, or related industry.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of market dynamics in the Western Region (Goa, Gujarat, Maharashtra).</li>
<li>Ability to develop strategic relationships with consultants, architects, PMCs, and other key stakeholders.</li>
<li>Proficiency in CRM tools and business forecasting.</li>
<li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Strong presentation skills and ability to engage with decision-makers at all levels.</li>
<li>Self-driven with strong ownership, planning, and follow-up capabilities.</li>
<li>Exposure to payroll transition projects, automation initiatives, or system integrations.</li>
