To manage the overall operations of the Fruits &amp; Vegetables section, ensuring proper stock availability, quality maintenance, pricing, display, hygiene, customer service, and sales growth.Key Responsibilities1. Stock &amp; Inventory Management<ul><li>Ensure daily availability of fresh fruits and vegetables.</li><li>Monitor stock levels and place purchase orders with suppliers or procurement team.</li><li>Check inbound stock for freshness, quality, and damage.</li><li>Maintain correct storage conditions (temperature, humidity, segregation).</li><li>Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expire, First Out) systems to reduce wastage.</li><li>Maintain inventory records, wastage reports, and daily sales updates.</li></ul>2. Display &amp; Merchandising<ul><li>Arrange products attractively to increase customer attraction and sales.</li><li>Use proper labeling for price, barcode, country of origin, and expiry (if applicable).</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and attractiveness of the display area and shelves.</li><li>Place promotional and seasonal items on priority display.</li><li>Ensure proper signage for offers, discounts, and new arrival items.</li></ul>3. Quality &amp; Hygiene<ul><li>Remove damaged, rotten, or expired items immediately.</li><li>Maintain high cleanliness standards for baskets, shelves, cutting/storing tools.</li><li>Ensure hygiene compliance as per food safety standards (HACCP/municipality rules).</li></ul>4. Sales &amp; Customer Service<ul><li>Assist customers in selecting fresh items.</li><li>Provide product information (origin, quality, price, seasonal availability).</li><li>Handle customer complaints politely and solve issues professionally.</li><li>Promote sales by suggesting alternatives, combo packs, and offers.</li></ul>5. Pricing &amp; Billing Coordination<ul><li>Ensure correct pricing in POS system and on display shelves.</li><li>Update daily price changes (especially for fresh market rate items).</li><li>Coordinate with billing staff for price corrections and barcode issues.</li></ul>6. Team Supervision<ul><li>Guide helpers, packers, or cleaners working in the section.</li><li>Assign daily tasks such as cleaning, peeling/packing, and restocking.</li><li>Maintain staff discipline and work efficiency.</li></ul>7. Reporting &amp; Administration<ul><li>Submit sales reports, wastage reports, and stock requirements to management.</li><li>Check and verify supplier delivery invoices.</li><li>Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse for stock transfers.</li></ul>✅ Skills &amp; Requirements<ul><li>Experience in Fruits &amp; Vegetables retail section (supermarket/hypermarket).</li><li>Knowledge of product varieties, seasonal patterns, and market pricing.</li><li>Good communication and customer handling skills.</li><li>Basic computer knowledge (stock entry, billing coordination).</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced and chilled environment.</li><li>Physically fit for lifting and stocking.</li></ul>✅ Education &amp; Experience<ul><li>Minimum High School</li><li>1&ndash;3 years supermarket experience in Fruits &amp; Vegetables section preferred.</li></ul>if you have real vegetable section experience in supermarket then Pls send your CV and come immediately for interview: 0545494938And mention your experience &amp; VISA status &amp; Expected SalaryJob Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
