<b>Job Description &ndash; Shift Manager</b><br>
</div><div><b>Supervision Received and Exercised</b><br>
Reports directly to the General Manager.<br>
 Exercises direct supervision of 15-50 employees.<br>
</div><div><b>Essential Job Functions</b><br>
Essential duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:<br>
</div><ul><li>Exhibit, cultivate, and enforce a sense of pride and relentless commitment to each step of preparing Guthrie&rsquo;s menu items for service.</li>
<li>Foster a culture of hospitality and quality to attract and retain the best talent.</li>
<li>Be an ambassador for the brand, building strategic relationships within the community to build a conspicuous reputation of quality and hospitality throughout our communities.</li>
<li>Support the General Manager in all efforts related to shift performance, including labor deployment and inventory management.</li>
<li>Review performance daily, taking time to calibrate each day and correspondingly coach and celebrate with your team.</li>
<li>Provide leadership by generating excitement, enthusiasm, and commitment toward company objectives.</li>
<li>Maintain an attitude of flexibility that allows performance above and beyond the parameters of this position description.</li></ul><div><br>

<b>Compensation Classification</b><br>
Hourly, Non-Exempt<br>
</div><div><b>Non-Essential Job Functions</b><br>
Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities, which may include the following:</div><ul>
<li>Walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods of time</li>
<li>Lifting a minimum of 50 lbs. overhead</li>
</ul><div>Maintain effective audio-visual discrimination and perception needed for:</div><ul>
<li>Making observations</li>
<li>Communicating with others</li>
<li>Reading and writing</li></ul><div><br>
</div><div><b>
Position Requirements</b></div><ul>
<li>Work a 35-45 hour week</li>
<li>In-store training program completed</li>
<li>Must maintain a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays</li>
<li>Must possess a state-issued driver&rsquo;s license and maintain reliable means of transportation</li></ul><div><br>

Working Conditions</b></div><ul>
<li>Restaurant environment: Work with advanced kitchen and front-of-house operational equipment, including maintenance and operations of deep fryers.</li>
<li>Office environment: Work with computers and office equipment.</li>
<li>Essential job functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for standing, walking, or sitting for prolonged periods of time.</li></ul><div><br>
