GW Inc. is a publishing services provider currently seeking psychology educators as paid Subject Matter Experts to help develop learning content for major book publishers, especially in the area of Developmental Psychology. This work is fully remote (within the U.S.), flexible, and doesn&rsquo;t interfere with your teaching schedule as you can accept or reject work as your schedule allows. GW SMEs are an integral part of our team and help us create a variety of learning content that is used to teach students at all levels across the United States. 
We&rsquo;re especially interested in educators who have taught courses in the following areas:
<ul>
<li>Developmental/Lifespan Psychology</li></ul> 


You would be helping us create:
<ul>
<li>Assessment content</li>
<li>Question banks and course content</li>
<li>Instructor manuals</li>
<li>Teaching guides</li></ul> 


The content you create will be for some of the biggest academic publishers in the world. You&rsquo;ll also receive feedback from our in-house Instructional Designers. 
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Master&rsquo;s degree or higher</li>
<li>Teaching experience at the collegiate level (1-2+ years)</li>
<li>Experience writing learning content or assessments</li>
<li>Exceptional writing skills</li>
<li>Must use Microsoft Word to complete work</li>
<li>Located in the United States</li></ul>

Freelance Psychology Subject Matter Expert (SME)

<div>Wake Learning, a division of GW, is looking for a creative individual passionate about education and learning to join our growing team. Wake Learning is the instructional design and content development branch of GW, a premier publishing services provider. 
As an Associate Developmental Editor, you will be creating educational (instructional) content and assessments, focusing on higher education and adult learning. 
Our mission is to (1) create content that enhances the learning experience, (2) create assessments that accurately assess mastery, (3) provide unmatched customer support throughout development, and (4) have a little fun along the way! 
You will directly contribute to these causes by providing support to our in-house instructional designers and subject matter experts (SMEs) and by managing your own projects.

Job Duties:

Your daily duties will include a mix of:
<ul>
<li>Critically evaluating content and assessments written by freelance SMEs/writers and bringing materials in line with established standards</li>
<li>Ensuring content conforms to supplied templates (file formatting, order of content) 
</li>
<li>Writing new content as needed, including writing summaries and writing/rewriting questions</li>
<li>Managing select projects, including communicating directly with the customer, monitoring/managing costs, and keeping the project on schedule</li></ul> 


As an Associate Developmental Editor, the majority of your work will be done using Microsoft Office.

<li>Degree or working toward a degree in instructional design, education (higher ed preferred), or curriculum development</li>
<li>Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word</li>

<li>Ensuring content conforms to supplied templates (ﬁle formatting, order of content) Performing quality checks on content and assessments written by freelance SMEs/writers; including evaluating for overall quality, spelling, grammar, clarity, and alignment with project goals and correcting as needed</li>
<li>Occasionally writing/rewriting questions</li></ul> 


As an Assistant Developmental Editor, the majority of your work will be done using Microsoft Oﬃce and Adobe Acrobat.
