Position SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and proactive System Administrator to oversee and maintain our IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365 administration, Azure cloud services, and network management. The ideal candidate will ensure the reliability, security, and optimal performance of our systems while delivering high‑quality technical support to end‑users across the organisation.We strongly encourage female candidates to apply for this role.This position requires frequent visits to branches and sites across the UAE. Applicants must hold a valid UAE driving licence and have access to a personal vehicle.Key ResponsibilitiesMicrosoft 365 Administration (40%)<ul><li>Administer and manage Microsoft 365 admin console including user accounts, licenses, and permissions</li><li>Configure and maintain Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Teams</li><li>Implement and manage security policies including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP)</li><li>Monitor service health, manage support tickets, and coordinate with Microsoft support when needed</li><li>Create and manage distribution lists, security groups, and shared mailboxes</li><li>Perform bulk user operations including provisioning, deprovisioning, and password resets</li><li>Configure mail flow rules, retention policies, and compliance features</li><li>Manage mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM) through Intune</li><li>Generate reports on Microsoft 365 usage, security, and compliance</li><li>Stay current with Microsoft 365 updates and implement new features as appropriate</li></ul>Azure Cloud Services (30%)<ul><li>Deploy, configure, and manage Azure resources including Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, and Virtual Networks</li><li>Implement and maintain Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) including user synchronization and hybrid identity solutions</li><li>Configure Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to manage resource permissions</li><li>Monitor Azure resource utilization, performance metrics, and cost optimization</li><li>Implement Azure backup and disaster recovery solutions</li><li>Manage Azure security policies, Network Security Groups (NSGs), and firewall rules</li><li>Configure and maintain Azure VPN connections and ExpressRout</li><li>Implement infrastructure as code using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Terraform</li><li>Troubleshoot Azure service issues and optimize cloud infrastructure performance</li><li>Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices in Azure environment</li></ul>Networking &amp; Infrastructure (25%)<ul><li>Design, implement, and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN)</li><li>Configure and manage network devices including routers, switches, firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet, or similar)</li><li>Implement and maintain TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLAN configurations</li><li>Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues</li><li>Implement network security measures including firewall rules, intrusion detection/prevention systems</li><li>Manage SD-WAN and remote access solutions for distributed offices</li><li>Perform network capacity planning and bandwidth optimization</li><li>Maintain network documentation including topology diagrams and configuration records</li><li>Coordinate with ISPs for internet connectivity and resolve service issues</li><li>Implement Quality of Service (QoS) policies for critical applications</li></ul>General System Administration (5%)<ul><li>Perform regular system updates, patches, and security upgrades</li><li>Manage and maintain Windows Server and Linux server environments</li><li>Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues</li><li>Maintain IT documentation including system configurations, procedures, and policies</li><li>Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and emergency response</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT projects and initiatives</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a System Administrator or similar role</li></ul><ul><li>Proven experience with Microsoft 365 administration and Azure cloud services</li></ul><ul><li>Strong background in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting</li></ul><ul><li>Experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure in a corporate environment</li></ul>Technical Skills<ul><li>Microsoft 365: Expert-level knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Microsoft 365 admin center</li><li>Azure Services: Proficiency in Azure AD, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Networking, Azure Storage, and Azure Security</li><li>Networking: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and network security</li><li>Operating Systems: Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Windows 10/11, Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS)</li><li>Security: Knowledge of security best practices, encryption, SSL/TLS, security compliance frameworks</li><li>Scripting: PowerShell (mandatory), Python, Bash for automation and task management</li><li>Virtualization: Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or Azure Virtual Machines</li><li>Directory Services: Active Directory, Azure AD, AD Connect, Group Policy management</li><li>Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with monitoring solutions (Azure Monitor, SCOM, Nagios, or similar)</li><li>Backup &amp;
