Job Summary</b></div><div>
We are currently seeking a skilled <b>Metal Fabricator</b> to join our team. This position is responsible for the fabrication and/or installation of custom products made from sheet metal and roofing materials, along with the manufacturing of necessary components. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with a variety of materials and tools and will play a key role in both shop and on-site fabrication.</div><p></p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
Key Responsibilities</b></h3><ul><li><div>
Select materials according to blueprints and specifications</div></li><li><div>
Measure and mark materials accurately</div></li><li><div>
Drill, cut, bend, and fasten materials using hand and power tools</div></li><li><div>
Install fabricated components with supportive frameworks</div></li><li><div>
Fabricate or adjust parts on-site as needed</div></li><li><div>
Maneuver, anchor, and secure large material components</div></li><li><div>
Track material inventory and equipment location</div></li><li><div>
Test and install materials in the field</div></li><li><div>
Weld, bolt, rivet, or solder components as needed</div></li><li><div>
May perform limited programming for automated equipment</div></li><li><div>
Perform additional duties as assigned</div></li></ul><p></p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Required Skills &amp; Abilities</b></h3><ul><li><div>
Strong knowledge of <b>sheet metal</b> and <b>roofing materials</b>, including:</div><ul><li><div>
Asphalt shingles, tiles, solar shingles, metal shingles, slate, bitumen, membrane systems, vegetative roofs, etc.</div></li></ul></li><li><div>
Ability to operate automated machinery</div></li><li><div>
Proficiency in interpreting technical blueprints and specifications</div></li><li><div>
Strong math skills including basic algebra and geometry</div></li><li><div>
Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail</div></li><li><div>
Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively as part of a team</div></li></ul><p></p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Education &amp; Experience</b></h3><ul><li><div>
High school diploma or equivalent required</div></li><li><div>
Several years of relevant work experience preferred</div></li><li><div>
Roofing experience is a strong plus</div></li></ul><p></p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Physical Requirements</b></h3><ul><li><div>
Able to move around work sites and work at heights</div></li><li><div>
Physically capable of frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing, and lifting</div></li><li><div>
Comfortable working in varied weather conditions</div></li><li><div>
Able to lift up to 50 lbs</div></li><li><div>
Tolerance for noisy and dusty environments</div></li></ul>
Pay Range: USD $32.00 - USD $40.00 /Hr.</div>
